The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404, Report of Sundry Operations. Tag up at 9030' (high DLS 17.75 to 37.30), could not work past, POOH. PU 1.25° bent sub and orientor in fishing string, TIH. Tag up at 9030', orient to try to work past tite spot. 12/2/98 6 9352 Fishing with BHA #7. [1.25 deg bent sub and Bowen overshot]. Unable to work past 9030 ft. in build / turn section. POOH. RIH with BHA #8 (orientor and overshot). Unable to work past top of whipstock. Attempted to orient TF several times to get past top of whipstock. No luck. POOH. Cut off 200 ft of CT. M/U Directional drilling BHA to ream open hole. RIH with BHA #9, [2.0 deg bent motor and Bit #1RR]. Tag top of whipstock and correct depth to 8880 ft. Ream 9030' and 9094'. Set down/motor work at 9254'. PUH tite, acts like fish. Backream to window and ream to fish with TF from 170L to 6R. Couldn't get clicks on right side. Ream hole several times and tag fish, clean. POOH for fishing assy. All cutters on shoulder of bit were gone (indicates that it was along side fish). LD drilling BHA. RIH with fishing BHA # 10 (OS, 0.75 deg BS, orientor, jars, etc). Orient to get by bottom of window. RIH thru open hole, clean. Tag fish at 9254'. Orient and try to latch. Keep going along side fish. After 1-1/2 full orient cycles, began pushing fish down hole. Push to 9272' and still getting along side. POOH for bigger bent sub. '1213198 7 9452 POOH with 0.75 deg bent sub fishing BHA. RIH with 1.5 deg bent sub fishing BHA #11. Sat down on fish, orient TF and push fish to TD. POOH with 5K overpull in open hole. POOH to surface, No fish. Slips were marked 1 inch inside. RIH with same fishing BHA with new slips. Sat down on fish, orient 3 times to swallow fish. Sat down full weight three times, POOH with 20K overpull and 40K overpull. Use jars to work free. POOH with fish. Lay out fishing BHA and fish. M/U directional drilling BHA #12. RIH. Shallow hole test took too high of pump press. POOH. Found Sperry monel too short for probe after makeup. Change out MDC. RIH with BHA #12 RR. Ream rite hole thru fishing area. Drill from Prior TD of 9352-9431'. Backream to window, hole ok. Drill to 9452'. 12/4/98 8 9789 Drilled horizontal 4.5" hole from 9452 - 9481ft. Made short trip to window. Drilled horizontal hole from 9481-9603 ft. POOH for Sperry MWD'failure. RIH with same bit and motor (BHA #12rr). Tied in at window. RIH and drilled horizontal hole from 9603-9726'. Short trip to window. Drill horizontal hole from 9726-9789'. Attempt to orient without success. POOH for orientor. LD drilling BHA. RIH to TD, hole good. Orient and drill to 10550' and orientor wouldn't stay locked. Showed 0.1 BPM flow on orients and 5 bbl gain. SI and WHP incr to 44 psi. Halon dump in A Pad manifold bldg. Backream to window. Park in 7" and circ out influx-none. No pit gain and normal 4 BPH loss when circ. SI and stabilized at 105 psi in 10 min. Assume breathing shales. A Pad ops back to normal. Orient (with numerous orients) to go thru window. RIH to TD. .- 12/9/98 13 1061 t RIH to TD. Orient TF. Drill horizontal hole from 10550 - 10611 ft. Lost 900 psi pump pressure while drilling at 2.6 BPM. POOH. Found Sperry orientor shaft had parted at upper threads. Same point as last orientor failure. Left MWD, motor and bit in hole (48.467. Order Baker fishing tools. M/U 3 5/8" overshot with 1.75' slips on 1.5 deg bent sub. M/U Sperry odentor, jars, accelerator. RIH with fishing BHA #20. Tag top of whipstock at 8890 ft. Correct to 8880 ft. Orient TF and couldn't get past top of whipstock. POOH. Change out Sperry odentor for Tomahawk. RIH with BHA #21 (same as #20). RIH thru window, okay. Lost wt in shale intervals. Tagged fish at 10573' CTD. Orient (30 deg) and tag. After four clicks, grapple was on fish. Set the hook. POOH with fish at normal string wt with sli overpulls, motor work and MWD signal in shales. Note: Pulled free at 82K at 0615 hrs, backream to window 12/11/98 15 10988 Pull stuck pipe free from TD. Backream to window. POOH to check BHA and cut CT to manage coil life. LD drilling BHA. RU hydraulic CT cutter. Cut off610' CT. Install CTC. PT @ 35K, 3500 psi. MU drilling BHA. RIH with drilling BHA #23 (1.3 deg motor, new DS74 bit). Precautionary ream to TD. Orient to high side after set down at 9300'. Correct to correct TD of 10889'. Drill ahead dropping angle (80 deg) as planned from 10889-10988'. Backream to window. 12/12/98 16 11246 Short trip to window. Tie-in with GR. RIH. Drill 4 %" hole from 10988 - 11108 ft. Short trip to window. Tie-in with GR. RIH. Drill from 11108 - 11246 ft. [ 8961 ft TVDSS ]. POOH. Check tie-in with GR. Final TD for well is 11,246 fi BKB. Drop 13/16" ball to open circ sub and clean 7" tubing. Flag CT at 8700ft. EOP. POOH circulating at 3.3 BPM. LD drilling BHA. Install 3- 1/2" slip rams. Test BOPE (weekly). MU logging BHA. Continue running liner. 12/16/98 20 Continue RIH with 3.5' liner in doubles. M/U Baker CTLRT. RIH-with 2779 ft of 3.5' liner on CT. RIH and tagged bottom of window at 8876 ft. [Added 14 ft to correct CT depth to 8890 ft]. RIH at 65 FPM and sat down wt at 10560, 10630, 10660 and 10735 ft. Unable to work liner shoe past 10735 ft. Swabbing indicated by positive returns with no pump while POOH. Pull float shoe of liner to tailpipe at 8520 ft and flush liner turbos with 60 bbls of 2% KCL water. Pump 42 bbls new FIoPro with 5% Lubetex while RIH with liner. Worked to 10847' and ran out of mud. Started losing ground. PUH clean while w/o more fresh mud. Pump 80 bbls new FIo Pro with 5% Lubetex while RIH with liner. Work from 10845-10847'. Added new mud and unable to make any progress. POOH to PU DC. OOH and RU to PU 3 1/8" DC. 3 %, slips crimped pipe, changed out topjt 3 %" tubing. PU 16- 3 1/8" DC. (473.51'). RIH with Liner. 2/17/98 21 - Rand liner to bottom at 11246'. Cir and condition hole. Dropped 5/8" ball and disconnected from liner. Displaced wellbore with 2% KCL. Cement well with 35 bbl of cement. All displacements were correct. Displaced cement and floats held. PUH and circulated hole clean. No cement to surface. POOH and LD DC and CTLRT. Weld on CTD and PU stinger. RIH to clean out liner. Tagged latch collar at t1186' POOH to perforate. OOH. PT wellbore to 2300 psi. Lost 400 psi in 10 min. Called town and Baker. Wait on seal assy to PT 3 %' tubing internally. RU Baker BHA to test liner 2/18~98 22 Sting into PBR at liner top. Pressure inside liner to 2500 psi, held OK. Pressure CT/Tbg annulus to 2200 psi, bled off at +/- 100 psi/min. Check Inner Annulus, no pressure increase, indicates tubing integrity good. POOH, run Halliburton RCP packer on wireline. Set Packer. PT to 2300 psi for 15 min and lost 15 psi. Top of Liner packer at 8459' ID = 2.7" Held Ssafety and Operational meeting concerning perforating. Run perf guns. RIH with 2" Perf Guns. Tagged top of liner packer at 8468'CTM. This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1: set whipstock, abandon existing perfs, mill window: Planned for 11/24/98. · A-27i will be tested for mechanical integrity, drifted for the whipstock and a Kinley caliper will be run to evaluate liner and tubing condition. · A Schmoo-Be-Gone treatment will be performed to eliminate mung from the wellbore. · Existing perforations will be abandoned with approx. 25 bbls cement. Abandonment cement will be downsqueezed past a mechanical whipstock set within Sag R. perforations at approx.8,880'. Abandonment cement will be squeezed to 2200 psi with AOGCC witness. This procedure is described in more detail in the Form 10-403. · Service coil or drilling coil will mill the window utilizing a flowline to the GC for all fluid returns. The service coil or drilling coil will conduct a full BOPE test, with AOGCC witness, prior to the milling operation. Phase 2: Mill Window and Drill Directional Hole: Planned for 12/08/98. Directional drilling coil tubing equipment will be rigged up and utilized to drill the directional hole as per attached plan. Mud Program: - Phase 1: Seawater - Phase 2: FIo-Pro (8.8 - 8.9 ppg) Casing Program: - 2 7/8", 6.16#, L-80, ST-L liner will be run from TD to approx. 8,464' MD and cemented with approx. 28 bbls. cement. The top of cement will be designed to be a minimum of 200 ft above the window. A Cement Evaluation Log will be run across the upper portion of the liner and pressure testing will be carried out to confirm mechanical integrity. The well will then be perforated with coil tubing conveyed guns. Well Control: - BOP diagram is attached. - Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 4000 psi. - The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2000 psi. This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1: set whipstock, abandon existing perfs, mill window: Planned for 11/24/98. · A-27i will be tested for mechanical integrity, drifted for the whipstock and a Kinley caliper will be run to evaluate liner and tubing condition. · A Schmoo-Be-Gone treatment will be performed to elim'inate mung from the wellbore. · Existing perforations will be abandoned with approx. 25 bbls cement. Abandonment cement will be downsqueezed past a mechanical whipstock set within Sag R. perforations at approx.8,880'. Abandonment cement will be squeezed to 2200 psi with AOGCC witness. This procedure is described in more detail in the Form 10-403. · Service coil or drilling coil will mill the window utilizing a flowline to the GC for all fluid returns. The service coil or drilling coil will conduct a full BOPE test, with AOGCC witness, prior to the milling operation. Phase 2: Mill Window and Drill Directional Hole: Planned for 12/08/98. Directional drilling coil tubing equipment will be rigged up and utilized to drill the directional hole as per attached plan. Mud Program: - Phase 1: Seawater - Phase 2: FIo-Pro (8.8 - 8.9 ppg) Casing Program: - 2 7/8", 6.16~, L-80, ST-L liner will be run from TD to approx. 8,464' MD and cemented with approx. 28 bbls. cement. The top of cement will be designed to be a minimum of 200 ft above the window. A Cement Evaluation Log will be run across the upper portion of the liner and pressure testing will be carried out to confirm mechanical integrity. The well will then be perforated with coil tubing conveyed guns. Well Control: - BOP diagram is attached. - Pipe rams, blind rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 4000 psi. - The annular preventer will be tested to 400 psi and 2000 psi. Directional - See attachments. - Kick Off: 8895' MD (8,693' TVD ss) - TD: 11,197' MD (8,949'-I-VD ss) - Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run.
