Brief Well Summary:
Y-34A is a full-time producing gas lifted well flowing to LP at GC1. It was a CTD sidetrack in 1999. Well had very
low on-time until it was brought back online in April 2021 and has been a fulltime producer since then. The best
saturation intervals were originally shot in ‘99, but this program will add substantial footage and should
improve gross fluid and oil rates.
Objective:Drift to PBTD and perform FCO if needed. Add additional perforation footage to improve GFRs and
oil production. CT deploy 401’ of charges over a 500’ interval in the 2-7/8” liner.
Procedure:
Slickline
1. Drift and tag to deviation and collect sample of any debris in liner in preparation for upcoming CT work.
Coiled Tubing Drift and Flag
1. MU GR/CCL in a carrier with ~2.25” JSN drift. RIH to PBTD. Flag pipe and pull correlation log.
a. CT has not been in the well since March 1999.
2. RIH dry and if any fill is encountered consider do a fluff and stuff or FCO to clear liner of fill
a. If significant fill is encountered call OE to make plan forward.
3. Correlate with attached log information.
a. Correct flag and send to Jeff Nelson and OE for confirmation.
b. No cased hole logs besides a CBL that does not cover the perf depths.
c. Use attached cross-section GR to tie-in. If GR is hot due to scale, contact Jeff Nelson for
additional information to tie-in.
Coil – Extended Perforating
Notes:
x Remote gas monitoring for H2S and LELs are required for Open Hole Deployment Operations
x Due to the necessary open hole deployment of Extended Perforating jobs, 24-hour crew and WSS
coverage is required.
The well will be killed and monitored before making up the initial perf guns. This is generally done during the
drift/logging run. This will provide guidance as to whether the well will be killed by bullheading or circulating
ExtPerf
Y-34A
PTD:199-004
bottoms up throughout the job. If pressure is seen immediately after perforating, it will either be killed by
bullheading while POOH or circulating bottoms up through the same port that opened to shear the firing head.
4. After MU MHA and pull testing the CTC, tag-up on the CT stripper to ensure BHA cannot pull through
the brass upon POOH with guns.
5. Bullhead 1.2x wellbore volume ~172 bbls 1% KCL/SW down tubing. Max tubing pressure 2500 psi.
(This step can be performed any time prior to open-hole deployment of the perf guns. Timing of the
well kill is at the discretion of the WSS.)
a. Wellbore volume to top perf = 143 bbls
b. 4-1/2” Tubing – 9,104’ X .0152 bpf = 139 bbls
c. 2-7/8” Liner – 588’ X .0058 bpf = 4 bbls
6. At surface, prepare for deployment of TCP guns.
7. Confirm well is dead. Bleed any pressure off to return tank. Kill well w/KWF, 8.4 ppg 1% KCl or 8.5
ppg as needed. Maintain hole fill taking returns to tank until lubricator connection is re-established.
Fluids man-watch must be performed while deploying perf guns to ensure the well remains killed
and there is no excess flow.
8.*Perform drill by picking up safety joint with TIW valve and space out before MU guns. Review well
control steps with crew prior to breaking lubricator connection and commencing makeup of TCP gun
string. Once the safety joint and TIW valve have been spaced out, keep the safety joint/TIW valve
readily accessible near the working platform for quick deployment if necessary.
d.At the beginning of each job, the crossover/safety joint must be physically MU to the perf guns
one time to confirm the threads are compatible.
9.Break lubricator connection at QTS and begin makeup of TCP guns per schedule below. Constantly
monitor fluid rates pumped in and fluid returns out of the well. Fluids man-watch must be performed
while deploying perf guns to ensure the well remains killed and there is no excess flow.

Subject: Corrosion Inhibitor Treatments of GPB Y Pad
Dear Mr. Maunder,
Enclosed please find multiple copies of a spreadsheet with a list of wells from Y Pad
that were treated with corrosion inhibitor in the surface casing by conductor annulus.
The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space
and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere.
The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of
cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor.
As per previous agreement with the AOGCC, this letter and spreadsheet serve as
notification that the treatments took place and meet the requirements of form 10 -404,
Report of Sundry Operations.
If you require any additional information, please contact me or my alternate, Jerry
Murphy, at 659 -5102.
Sincerely,
Torin Roschinger

· A permanent whipstock w~ll be set on EL~ne at approximately 9,475' MD, 49 ft below
exisbng Sag R perfs
· Ex~sbng Zone 4 and Sag R perforabons w~ll be abandoned w~th approx 25 bbls cement
Abandonment cement w~ll be downsqueezed past the whipstock and squeezed to 1500 ps~
w~th AOGCC w~tness Cement w~ll then be washed out or dnlled to the top of the whipstock
Th~s procedure ~s descnbed ~n more detail ~n the Form 10-403
Phase 2' Mill Window and Drill Directional Hole: Planned for 1131/99.
Drilling coil tubing equipment will be ngged up and utilized to m~ll the w~ndow (if not
done by service co~l) and drill the directional hole as per attached plan The
completion will be a fully cemented 2 7/8" liner. If service coil is used to m~ll the
window, a flowl~ne w~ll be utilized for fluid returns.
Mud Program' - Phase 1 Seawater
- Phase 2. FIo-Pro (8 8 - 8 9 ppg)
Liner Program:
- 2 7/8", 6 16#, L-80, ST-L hner w~ll be run from TD to approx 9,130' MD and cemented w~th
approx 23 bbls. cement The well w~ll then be perforated with co~l tubing conveyed guns
Well Control: - BOP d~agram is attached
- P~pe rams, bl~nd rams and the CT pack off will be pressure tested to 400 psi and to 400__.0 ps~
- The annular preventer w~ll be tested to 400 ps~ and 2000 ps~
Directional: - See attachments
- K~ck Off 9,475' MD (8,810' TVD ss)
- TD 11,859' MD (8,961' 'I-VD ss)
- Magnebc and ~ncl~nabon surveys w~ll be taken every 30 ft No gyro w~ll be run
Logging: · A Gamma Ray log w~ll be run over all of the open hole section
· A memory Inducbon log w~ll be run at TD
Mud and Cuttings disposal:
All waste mud and cutbngs wdl be ~njected at the CC2 fac~hty
