Enclosed is the approved application for permit to drill the above referenced well.
The permit to drill does not exempt you from obtaining additional permits required by law from
other governmental agencies, and does not authorize conducting drilling operations until all other
required permitting determinations are made.
Thc permit is for a new wellbore segment of existing well 13-02B, Permit No. 97-253, AP1
No. 50-029-20324-02. Production should continue to be reported as a function of the original
API number stated above.
Blowout prevention equipment (BOPE) must be tested in accordance with 20 AAC 25 035.
Sufficient notice (approximately 24 hours) must be given to allow a representative of the
Commission to witness a test of BOPE installed prior to drilling new hole. Notice may be given
by contacting the Commission petroleum field inspector on the North Slope pager at 659-3607.

OBJECTIVE: Drill approximately ~ ~ ~ID of formation out of the
4-1/2" horizontal liner. Run2,7/8" slotted liner.
INTENDED PROCEDURE:
1. Cleanout 4-1/2" horizontal liner.
MU and run the whipstock assembly. Setting the top of the assembly at - 10400'.
MU drilling 3-3/4" BI-IA on CT and drill .~-~t~. MD out of the 4-1/2" liner. Drill
10' of formation and perform Leak off test tO 0:$ ppg above the highest
anticipated mud weight ( 8.9 ppg Flo Pro as drilling fluid).
MU and run a slotted 2-7/8" FLAS liner in open hole.
MU WS retrieving tool assembly and pull the WS assembly.
POOH with CT and RD. Put well on production.
NOTE: Drill cuttings will be disposed of at CC2A and drilling mud will be
disposed at Pad 3.
