Well History:
05-09 was originally drilled in 1977. In 2000 a CTD lateral was added. The well was a full time producer until
2019 when it was uncompetitive due to high GOR. The well was secured with a CIBP. In 2021 a MIT-T and
CMIT-TxIA failed. The LLR was 2.4 gpm at 2,400-psi. An LDL identified the leak at 6,660ft. We would like to
abandon the reservoir section, cement up the production casing and cut the tubing in preparation for a rotary
sidetrack with a high kick off point at ~5,500ft. The sidetrack will be the subject of a different sundry.
Justification for Reservoir P&A:
In 2025, 05-09A was identified as a donor candidate for a CTD sidetrack. Unfortunately, it failed pre rig
screening due to a PC leak. A rotary sidetrack with a high kick out will now exploit the target. A reservoir P&A
is required in preparation for the Hilcorp Innovation rig to drill a rotary sidetrack.
Objectives:
The intent of this program is to perform a reservoir P&A of the well per 20 AAC 25.112, isolate the PC leak and
cut TBG in preparation for a rotary sidetrack with planned KOP @ ~5,500 MD.
The original wellbore was drilled in 1977 utilizing a 3 string casing design. The 9-5/8 production casing and 3-
1/2 tubing was cemented to allow a sidetrack in the BCGL (Ivishak Z2) at 9,786 when the A lateral was drilled.
The 2-3/8 liner was fully cemented inside the 3-1/2 tubing.
Procedure:
AOGCC Witness: All AOGCC witnessed operations require a minimum of 24-hour notice to AOGCC inspectors of
the timing of the operation so they can be available.
Wellhead:
1. PPPOT-T to 5000 psi (Done 8/16/25)
2. PPPOT-IC to 3500 psi (Done 8/16/25)

3. Punch 3-1/2 tubing and 2-3/8 liner at ~9,600ft.
Apply 1,000 psi to 3-1/2 prior to punching, record before/after pressures.
Circulate ~ 20bbls to verify punches are successful. Note any pressure changes.
Fluid pack wellbore with diesel.
Service Coil:
4. Set 3-1/2 onetrip cement retainer at 5,650.
5. Pump Abandonment plug, TOC is planned at ~5,650 MD in tubing and IA.

Plug for Re-drill Well
Workflow
This process is used to identify wells that are suspended for a very short time prior to being
re-drilled. Those wells that are not re-drilled immediately are identified every 6 months and
assigned a current status of "Suspended."
Step Task Responsible
1 The initial reviewer will check to ensure that the "Plug for Redrill" box in
the upper left corner of Form 10-403 is checked. If the "Abandon" or
"Suspend" boxes are also checked, cross out that erroneous entry and
initial it on the Form 10-403.

2 If the Abandon box is checked in Box 15 (Well Status after proposed
work) the initial reviewer will cross out that checkbox and instead, check
the "Suspended" box and initial those changes.

The drilling engineer will serve as quality control for steps 1 and 2.

3 When the RA2 receives a Form 10-403 with a check in the "Plug for
Redrill" box, they will enter the Typ_Work code "IPBRD" into the
History tab for the well in RBDMS. This code automatically generates
a comment in the well history that states "Intent: Plug for Redrill."

4 When the RA2 receives Form 10-407, they will check the History tab
in RBDMS for the IPBRD code. If IPBRD is present and there is no
evidence that a subsequent re-drill has been completed, the RA2 will
assign a status of SUSPENDED to the well bore in RBDMS. The RA2
will update the status on the 10-407 form to SUSPENDED, and date
and initial this change.
If the RA2 does not see the "Intent: Plug for Redrill" comment or code,
they will enter the status listed on the Form 10-407 into RBDMS.

5 When the Form 10-407 for the redrill is received, the RA2 will change the
original well's status from SUSPENDED to ABANDONED.

6 The first week of every January and July, the RA2 and a Geologist or
Reservoir Engineer will check the "Well by Type Work Outstanding"
user query in RBDMS to ensure that all Plug for Redrill sundried wells
have been updated to reflect current status.
At this same time, they will also review the list of suspended wells for
accuracy and assign expiration dates as needed.

* Ran WS drift on SL and sat down at 9850' Ran 2.925" UR and underream

* Ran and set WS anchor at 9910' Ran in hole to tag and found anchor at
9935' Ran and set 2nd WS anchor at 9910'
* Ran WS tray on CT. Latch into anchor at 9910' Top of WS at 9900'
* Mill window from 9900 - 9903.2' and had several problems. Finally left a
2" x 1" piece of mill in window area.

difficulties in milling the 2-string window through the 3-1/2" tubing and the
9-5/8" casing. Due to the problems encountered, we decided to suspend
operations on this well until we could further test the 2-string window milling
process and obtain additional monies from our partners. We tested the 2-string
window milling process in September and were able to perform a 2-string window
on the low-side of the hole. Our partners have approved the additional monies
and plans are to resume drilling this sidetrack following the DS 2-32A well
which we are currently drilling.
The permit for DS 5-09A was approved back in February 1999 and I wanted to make
sure that there was no problem with us using the permit to resume operations.
Would you please let me know if anything needs to be resubmitted or if we can
proceed as planned. The only change from the original permit is the KOP which
will now be at 9865'

Hello Steve,
As per our conversation today, in May 99 you went in and shot upper and lower
perfs and cemented the straddle interval.
Then set a whip stock and drilled thru the 3-1/2" tubing and into the 9-5/8" casing
where you had problems and left part of the mill - probably lodged in the casing.
Then you cemented the 3-1/2" to above the 9836' packer and polished it off to ~
9870'
You now plan to enter the well, set a whipstock at 9865' and drill thru the
tubing and casing as originally planned.

CT Sidetrack and Completion
Intended Procedure
Objective:
P&A well with 17 ppg cement. Mill window from mechanical whipstock.
Directionally drill a horizontal well from the existing wellbore. Complete with
2-3/8" cemented liner. Perforate appropriate intervals.
Intended Procedure:
P&A existing perfs and place cement behind straddle interval. Install
mechanical whipstock.
Mill window from whipstock in straddle interval through both the 3-1/2"
tubing and 9-5/8" casing at 9900' md. Drill 10' of formation and perform
leak-off test to 9.0 ppg, 0.5 ppg above the highest anticipated mud weight
(8.5 ppg polymer mud).
Directionally drill a 2-3/4" (3" bi-center) well to access Zone 1 reserves.
Planned TD is 11488' md.
· Run 2-3/8" blank liner to TD, cement in place.
· Perforate, place on production.
Drilling fluids will be injected into disposal wells at Pad 3 or CC2A.

No H2S production has been measured from this well.
BHP: 3375 psi @ 8800' ss (7.4 ppg EMW), BHT 195 °F
(estimated values based on offset wells). No over pressured zones are anticipated.
Maximum anticipated WHP w/full column of gas: 2500 psi.
High perm, gas saturated intervals are expected across the Sadlerochit.
No major faults are anticipated. Drilling will be done with 8.5 ppg mud.

wellbore of Well 5-09.
Well 5-09A was drilled to 11703' MD (8934' SSTVD) on Run 12. The TD
was shifted to 11745' MD (8935' SSTVD) due to a depth adjustment
after a tie-in.
The interval from 11727' MD (8934' SSTVD) to 11745' MD (8935' SSTVD)
was not logged due to sensor to bit offset.
(7) The data presented here is final and has been depth shifted to a PDC
(Primary Depth Control) supplied by Arco Alaska (SWS, 09-Jan-00).
(8) A Magnetic Declination correction of 27.39 degrees has been applied
to the Directional Surveys.
