All,
Injector 12-27 (PTD # 1990390) was made not operable due to missing its AOGCC-witnessed
MIT-IA resulting from ongoing repairs to the seawater injection line. Surface repairs to the
injection line have been complete. The well meets operability criteria and is ready to be
brought online for MIT-IA testing. The well is reclassified as Operable.
Once the injection rate is stable, a witnessed MIT-IA will be scheduled.
Be mindful of fluid packed annuli.
Plan Forward:
1. Ops: Place well on injection
2. DHD: Perform state witnessed MIT-IA

Sundry Cancellation Request
03/04/03
PTI)# 1990390
gundry# 93-269 dated 10/08/93
This is a request to cancel the Sundry for continued Water Alternating Gas (WAG)
injection with slow T x IA communication. Upon cancellation, the well will return to
normal WAG injection status. The MIT-IA schedule will return to the standard 4-year
test frequency.
Reason for cancellation:
There is no evidence of T x IA communication noted in the TIO plots.

Test's Details
I traveled to BPXs Drill Site 12 and witnessed the 4-year MIT on wells 12-02, 12-25 and 12-27A. The pretest tubing and
casing pressures were observed and found to be stable. The casings were then pressured up and observed for 30 minutes
with all 3 wells demonstrating good mechanical integrity.

General: This form is designed for submitting a complete and correct well completion report and log on all types of lands and
leases in Alaska.
Item 1: Classification of Service wells: Gas injection, water injection, steam injection, air injection, salt water disposal, water
supply for injection, observation, injection for in-situ combustion.
Item 5: Indicate which elevation is used as reference (where nOt otherwise shown) for depth measurements given in other
spaces on this form and in any attachments.
Item 16 and 24: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval (multiple completion), so state in
item 16, and in item 24 show the producing intervals for the interval reported in item 27. Submit a separate form for each
additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval.
Item 21-' Indicate whether from ground level (GL) or other elevation (DF, KB, etc.).
Item 23: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any multiple stage cementing and the location
of the cementing tool.
Item 27: Method of Operation: Flowing, Gas Lift, Rod Pump, Hydraulic Pump, Submersible, Water Injection, Gas Injection,
Shut-in, Other-explain.

Dear Tom:
RE: Sundry_ Notice for 12-27Ai (Add Perforations & Acid Stimulation Treatment)
BP requests approval for Add Perforations to Zone 4B via coil tubing conveyed Perforating guns.
The perforating will be followed by an Acid Stimulation. The procedure includes the following
major steps:
1. Drift and tag. (pending conversion back to water injection)
2. Add perforations.
3. Acidize the new perforations.

The purpose of this work is to increase injectivity into the 4B in the portion of the field to the
south of the DS 12 graben. Well 12-27A was sidetracked north into the DS 12 graben in June of
1999. The sidetrack was completed in the 4A and lower 4B. Since the original completion, the
well has injected several small MI slugs. The cumulative MI injected to date is close to 3.0 BCF.
In order to maximize the impact of this new injector and improve its sweep efficiency, additional
perforations will be added in the graben in the 4B. Although the well is currently injecting MI, a
request has been made to switch the well back to water injection. No work will start on this well
until it has been placed back on water injection.
The producers which are offset to the original 12-27 location (south of the graben) have
experienced decline as a result of moving this injector north into the graben. By perforating the
sidetrack south of the graben injection will be restored to the original pattern. This injection will
provide support to producer 12-03, 12-05, 12-18 and 12-22. Producer 12-05 has been down
Page 1
since February of 2000, however a rig workover package to repair this well was issued during the
first quarter of 2001. In addition to adding perforations South of the graben, twenty feet of
perforations will also be added to the north of the graben in the 4B zone in order to provide
support in this zone on the north side of the fault.
Three 20' intervals at the base of 4B will perforated and stimulated initially. An injection profile
will be mn after the well has injected for several months. Additional perforations may be added
south of the fault if required to balance the injection.

Dear Mr. Smith:
Enclosed is the approved application for permit to redrill the above referenced well.
The permit to redrill docs not exempt you from obtaining additional permits required by law from
other governmental agencies, and does not authorize conducting drilling operations until all other
required permitting determinations are made.
The blowout prevention equipment (BOPE) must be tested in accordance with 20 AAC 25.035;
and the mechanical integriB; (MI) of the injection wells must be demonstrated under 20 AAC
25.412 and 20 AAC 25.030(g)(3). Sufficient notice (approximately 24 hours) of the MI test
before operation, and of the BOPE test prior to drilling new hole must be given so that a
representative of the Commission may witness the tests. Notice may be given by contacting the
Commission petroleum field inspector on the North Slope pager at 659-3607.
