The corrosion inhibitor is engineered to prevent water from entering the annular space and causing external corrosion that could result in a surface casing leak to atmosphere. The attached spreadsheet represents the well name, API and PTD numbers, top of cement depth prior to filling and volumes of corrosion inhibitor used in each conductor. Supervisor John Crisp,t~,,-~ Petroleum Ihspector SUBJECT: Casing Integrity Test April 11, 2000: I traveled to BPX Prudhoe Bay Field to witness the Casing Integrity test on Well H-36 being sidetracked by Dowell/Nordic 1 Coil Tbg. Drilling Rig. Cement has been squeezed on this wells IA ( 7 5/8" casing x 4 ½" tbg.) from 11093' to 10615'. A whipstock was placed @ 10947' to allow window milling thru tbg. & casing for sidetrack. I witnessed a window cut in the tubing to allow a test between the tubing casing annulus that would also test the integrity of the cement in the IA. Starting pressure for test was 1550 psi. The pressure dropped to 1465 psi. after 5 minutes. 20 minute pressure reading was 1421 psi. 30 minute pressure reading was 1410 psi. SUMMARY: I witnessed the successful 30 minute casing test on BP's PBU well H-36. Casing Test H-36. No failures witnessed. This sidetrack will be conducted in two phases. Phase 1: Set plug in tbg. tailpipe, cmt. IA above prod pkr., set whipstock anchor: Planned for Mar 15-19. · A Tubing Integrity Test was successfully performed on 1/27/00. · A whipstock drift was run on 1/29/00. · E-Line will be used to set a bridge plug in the tubing tailpipe. Test plug to 1500 psi. · E-line will be used to punch the tubing above the production packer at approx. 11.090-94'. · E-Line will set a cement retainer at approx. 11,070'. · Service coil will squeeze cement into the IA to a height of approx. 10,500'. · E-line will set a whipstock anchor at approx. 11,010' and confirm orientation. Phase 2: Mill window, Drill and Complete sidetrack: Planned for March 31, 2000.
