Last SI WHP: 2,400psi (4/12/2020)
Min ID:2.31” ID – liner top @ 9,341’MD
Max Angle:96 Deg @ 12,513’
Brief Well Summary:
2010 CTD sidetracked into Z1A, currently shut in due to uncompetitive GOR.
Objective:
The objective of this procedure is to pull the existing CTD liner from cased hole. Top of cement is estimated to
be ~10,300ft. A slickline drift indicates the liner may be parted at 9,785ft, there is also a restriction below the
liner top.
Procedure:
Slickline-dummy station #2, and #3. Set test plug in liner top at 9,341ft MIT to 2,500-psi CMIT-IA to 2,500-
psi. Pull test plug, Pull KB packer from 9,341ft.
Coiled Tubing
Notes:
x Due to the necessary open hole undeployment of liner, 24-hour crew and WSS coverage is required.
x Note: The well will be killed and monitored before pulling the liner. This will provide guidance as to
whether the well will be killed by bullheading or circulating bottoms up throughout the job. If
pressure is seen, it will either be killed by bullheading while POOH or circulating bottoms up.
Coil Tubing
1. MIRU Coiled Tubing Unit and spot ancillary equipment.
2. After MU MHA and pull testing the CTC, tag-up on the CT stripper to ensure BHA cannot pull through
the brass upon POOH with liner pulling tool.
3. Bullhead 200 bbls of KWF, 8.4 ppg 1% KCl or 8.5 ppg down the tubing to the formation. (This step can
be performed any time prior to pulling the liner. Timing of the well kill is at the discretion of the WSS.)
a. Wellbore volume to top perf = 162 bbls
b. 4-1/2” Tubing – 9,341’ X .0152bpf = 142 bbls
c. 3-1/2” Tubing – 54’ x 0.0087bpf = 0.5 bbls
d. 3-3/16” Liner – 2305’ X .0076bpf = 17.5 bbls
e. 2-7/8” Liner – 227’ X .0058bpf = 1.4 bbls
4. At surface, prepare for recovery of 3-1/2” and 3-3/16” TC-II liner.
Liner Pull Procedure
18-30A
PTD:209087
5. Confirm well is dead. Bleed any pressure off to return tank. Kill well w/KWF, 8.4 ppg 1% KCl or 8.5 ppg
as needed. Maintain continuous hole fill taking returns to tank until lubricator connection is
reestablished. Fluids man-watch must be performed while deploying patch to ensure the well remains
killed and there is no excess flow.
6.Pickup safety joint and TIW valve and space out before MU fishing assembly.Review well control steps
with crew prior to breaking lubricator connection and commencing pipe recovery. Once the safety joint
and TIW valve have been spaced out, keep the safety joint/TIW valve readily accessible near the
working platform for quick deployment if necessary.
7. RIH and latch upper portion of 3-1/2” and 3-3/16” liner. Pull to surface. Break lubricator connection at
QTS and begin laying down liner per schedule below. Use lift nubbins. Fluids man-watch must be
performed while laying down liner to ensure the well remains killed and there is no excess flow. Note:
The liner may part at the restriction or at the suspected part. Examine end of pipe recovered and
determine if a dress off run is necessary.
8. Set scoop guide on stub.
9. RIH with jet cutter assembly, Cut 3-3/16” liner ~ 10,150ft
10. Kill well as necessary.
11. RIH and latch lower portion of 3-3/16” liner. Pull to surface. Break lubricator connection at QTS and
begin laying down liner per schedule below. Use lift nubbins. Fluids man-watch must be performed
while laying down liner to ensure the well remains killed and there is no excess flow.

Remarks
(1) All depths are Measured Depths (MD) unless otherwise noted.
(2) All depths are Bit Depths unless otherwise noted.
(3) All True Vertical Depths ( TVDSS) are subsea corrected.
(4) All Formation Evaluation data is realtime data.
(5) Baker Hughes INTEQ utilized CoilTrak downhole tools and the Advantage
surface system to log this well..
(6) Tools ran in the string included Casing Collar Locator, an
Electrical Disconnect and Circulating Sub, a Drilling
Performance Sub (Inner and outer Downhole Pressure, vibration and
Downhole weight on Bit), a Directional and Gamma Sub, and
a Hydraulic Orienting Sub with a Near Bit Inclination Sensor.
(7) Data presented here is final and has been depth adjusted to a Primary
Depth Control (PDC) log provided by schlumberger GR above the
Kick off Point of 12021 feet MD dated 31 Jan 2010 per Doug Stoner
with BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc.
(8) The sidetrack was drilled from 18 -30 through a milled window in a 5 1/2
inch liner.
Top of window 11431 ft.MD (8722.1 ft.TVDSS)
Bottom of window 11442 ft.MD (8722.1 ft.TVDSS)
(9) Tied to 18 -30 at 11398 feet MD (8722.63 feet TVDSS).
(10) The interval from 12665 ft to 12705 ft MD (8743.2 ft. to 8739.4 ft.
TVDSS)
was not logged due to sensor to bit offset at well TD.

Remarks
(1) All depths are Measured Depths (MD) unless otherwise noted.
(2) All depths are Bit Depths unless otherwise noted.
(3) All True vertical Depths (TVDSS) are subsea corrected.
Depth Control (PDC) log provided by Schlumberger GR dated 31 Jan 2010
per Doug Stoner with BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc.
(8) The sidetrack was drilled from 18 -30 through a milled window in a 5 1/2
inch liner.
Top of window 11431 ft.MD (8722.1 ft.TvDSS)
Bottom of window 11442 ft.MD (8722.1 ft.TvDSs)
(9) Tied to 18 -30 at 11398 feet MD (8722.63 feet TvDSS).
(10) The interval from 13843 ft to 13892 ft MD (8773.6 ft. to 8774.1 ft.
TVDSS)
was not logged due to sensor to bit offset at well TD.
