Brief Well Summary
Granite Pt St 18742 15 (Anna-15) is an active dual string jet pump producer. Communication across the
wellhead has developed and gotten worse over the past several years. The well is requiring 3-4 times the
baseline power oil to achieve the same drawdown vs. design. Not only does this make optimization / offtake
challenging, but more importantly a dedicated power oil pump is running just to feed this well. By reducing the
power oil requirement back to design levels, we will be able to shutoff one power oil pump, and save the
associated fuel gas.
This HWO aims to pull the completion, repair the wellhead, and install a new 2-7/8 x 2-7/8 dual JP
completion. Given the sensitivity of the formations, diesel will be used as the KWF for this HWO. The last
known casing test was upon original D&C in 1968. A new one will be obtained as part of this HWO.
A separate sundry (#324-576) is currently open to reperforate the existing sands. Before the rig shows up, we
will have shot and produced the well. We will also conduct a new no flow test. The procedure below assumes
the NFT passes. If for some reason a passing NFT is not obtained, a new completion design will be submitted
to the AOGCC to include a shallow packer with vent valve, and dual SSSVs. No cleanout nor perfs are
planned as part of this HWO
The goal of this project is to repair the wellhead communication and reduce the power oil requirement

Well: Anna-15
Pertinent wellbore information:
- No flow well: Open IA, no packer, nor SSSVs
- Pressure
o Memory gauge data acquired 3/24/24 4/3/24 at 9132 MD (8919 TVD)
Recorded a max SI BHP of 1015psi (2.2ppg) after 3 days SI
Min FBHP recorded at 110psi
o Max offset pressure extrapolated to 6.6ppg
- Integrity highlights
o PPPOT-T fails. Known communication across wellhead
o 4/24/24: MIT-T to 2500psi FAILED with 430psi loss in 30 mins
Pressured up down both tubing strings against the standing valve
Likely communication across tubing hanger
Can't rule out tubing leak, nor standing valve leak either
o 11/5/2014: NFT passed
o 7/25/14 wellhead diagnostics
PPPOT-IC passed to 250/2500psi (9-5/8 hanger) wellhead seal in tact between IA and
OA
PPPOT-OC passed to 250/800psi (13-3/8 hanger)
o 12/16/1984: Most recent RWO
Both 3-1/2 tubing strings were re-run at this time
No recorded casing test
o 1/22/1968: Initial completion
9-5/8 x 7 casings and liner lap passed a PT to 2000psi (before initial perforations)
Most recent recorded casing MIT
- 3/25/24 SL surveillance
o Long string (power oil injection side)
2.60 gauge ring tagged at 9827 MD
2-3/8 x 30 dummy perf gun (~2.50 OD) drifted down to 9850 MD. Took weight at
9827, but made it deeper
o Short side (3 phase production side)
2.60 centralizer tagged 3-1/2 x 2-3/8 XO at 9116 MD with no issue

HWO Procedure:
1. MIRU Team Snubbing Hydraulic Workover (HWO) Unit (Snubbing International, Alberta, Canada)
2. Circulate / Bullhead kill well:
a. Work over fluid will be diesel (6.8ppg)
b. Ensure all existing wellbore fluids are fully displaced with KWF either via circulation or
bullheading
c. WBV = 670bbls
i. Long String Tubing volume = 80bbls
ii. Short String Tubing volume = 80 bbls
iii. IA volume = 510bbls
3.Set BPVs, ND tree, NU BOP with added 13-5/8 test spool below deck
a. Notify AOGCC 48 hours in advance for witness
b. Set test plug in 13-5/8 test spool
c. Test to 250psi Low / 2,500psi High / 2,500psi Annular
d. All components above the test spool can be tested normally before pulling test plug
e. BOPs will be closed as needed to circulate the well
f. Planning to pull one string at a time
4. Pull test plug, Pull BPVs and close BOPE
5. Perform a rolling BOP test on breaks below 13 5/8 test spool
a. Hold a constant pressure (250psi low / 2500psi High) on the equipment and monitor the
fluid/pump rate into the well
b. Continue to monitor the surface equipment for leaks to ensure that the fluid is going down-
hole and not leaking anywhere at surface
c. Record the pumping rate and pressure (250psi low / 2500psi High)
d. Standing valve will still be installed below Kobe cavity, so leak should be in the 10-20psi/min
range based on 4/24/24 MIT-T
6. Cut short string
a. RU EL to short string
b. RIH and cut just above Kobe block at ±9120 MD
c. RD EL
7. Unseat Short string and POOH with 3-1/2 tubing
8. Unseat Long string and begin POOH with 3-1/2 tubing
9. LD 500 of 3-1/2 Long string
If unable to pull strings one at a time, the completion will have to be pulled as duals. The BOPs will already be
setup for both scenarios. If completion must be pulled 2 strings concurrently, both strings will have to be fully
recovered before the storm packer and wellhead work can commence.
Dual Jet Pump HWO

Rolling BOP Test Procedure
Hilcorp Alaska, LLC Rolling BOP Test Procedure:
Rolling BOP Test procedure
a. Utilize 13-3/8 test spool / test plug between wellhead and BOPE to test all components possible while isolated
from tubing spool/hanger leak
b. Rolling Test
a. Need to station hands in cellar going over all connections on the BOPs looking for the slightest leak. Also
need a man looking down the hole to confirm that the BOPs are not leaking.
b. Test the remaining BOPE components while continuing to pump, (Continue to monitor the surface
equipment for leaks to ensure that the fluid is going down-hole and not leaking anywhere at surface.)
c. Hold a constant pressure on the equipment and monitor the fluid/pump rate into the well. Record the
pumping rate and pressure. (250psi low / 2500psi High)
d. Once the targeted BOPE components have been tested with this rolling procedure, test any remaining
components of the BOPE system following the normal test procedure (floor valves, gas detection, etc. )
c. Pull test joint and test sub
d. Verify well is still dead with 0psi on tubings and inner annulus
e. Continue per sundry.
f. Any BOPE components that could only be tested initially via the rolling test should be retested following the normal
test procedure as soon as practical during operations.

RE: No-Flow Verification
Granite Pt State 18742 Anna-15
PTD 1670820
Dear Mr. Marlowe:
On December 4, 2024, an Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC) Petroleum
Inspector witnessed a no-flow test of Granite Pt State 18742 Well 15 located on the Anna Platform
in Cook Inlet. The AOGCC Inspector confirmed that the proper test equipment was rigged up
prior to the test as outlined in AOGCC Industry Guidance Bulletin 21-001.
The test procedure employed was a 1 hour shut in period to monitor pressure build up followed by
a short flow period through the test equipment to an open top tank – repeated two additional times.
There was no oil observed during the no-flow test. Each flow period demonstrated gas rates
measured at the surface initiallyexceeding the allowed 900 scf per hour limit, then declining below
that limit within 5 minutes.
Granite Pt State 18742 Well 15 may be produced without a subsurface safety valve as confirmed
by the AOGCC Inspector at the conclusion the test. A fail-safe automatic surface safety valve
system capable of preventing uncontrolled flow must be maintained in proper working condition
in this well as required in 20 AAC 25.265. The subsurface safety valve must be returned to service
if Granite Pt State 18742 Well 15 demonstrates an ability to flow unassisted to surface. Any
cleanout, perforating or other stimulation work in this well will necessitate a subsequent no-flow
test. Please retain a copy of this letter on the Anna Platform.
Sincerely,
James B. Regg

This HWO aims to pull the completion, repair the wellhead, and install a new 2-7/8” x 2-7/8” dual JP
If for some reason a passing NFT is not obtained, a new completion design will be submitted
to the AOGCC to include a shallow packer with vent valve, and dual SSSV’s. No cleanout nor perfs are
planned as part of this HWO
The goal of this project is to repair the wellhead communication and reduce the power oil requirement

Well: Anna-15
Pertinent wellbore information:
- No flow well: Open IA, no packer, nor SSSV’s
- Pressure
o Memory gauge data acquired 3/24/24 – 4/3/24 at 9132’ MD (8919’ TVD)
Recorded a max SI BHP of 1015psi (2.2ppg) after 3 days SI
Min FBHP recorded at 110psi
o Max offset pressure extrapolated to 6.6ppg
- Integrity highlights
o PPPOT-T fails. Known communication across wellhead
o 4/24/24: MIT-T to 2500psi FAILED with 430psi loss in 30 mins
Pressured up down both tubing strings against the standing valve
Likely communication across tubing hanger
Can't rule out tubing leak, nor standing valve leak either
o 11/5/2014: NFT passed
o 7/25/14 wellhead diagnostics
PPPOT-IC passed to 250/2500psi (9-5/8” hanger) wellhead seal in tact between IA and
OA
PPPOT-OC passed to 250/800psi (13-3/8” hanger)
o 12/16/1984: Most recent RWO
Both 3-1/2” tubing strings were re-run at this time
No recorded casing test
o 1/22/1968: Initial completion
9-5/8” x 7” casings and liner lap passed a PT to 2000psi (before initial perforations)
Most recent recorded casing MIT
- 3/25/24 SL surveillance
o Long string (power oil injection side)
2.60” gauge ring tagged at 9827’ MD
2-3/8” x 30’ dummy perf gun (~2.50” OD) drifted down to 9850’ MD. Took weight at
9827’, but made it deeper
o Short side (3 phase production side)
2.60” centralizer tagged 3-1/2” x 2-3/8” XO at 9116’ MD with no issue
Dual Jet Pump HWO
Well: Anna-15
HWO Procedure:
1. MIRU Team Snubbing Hydraulic Workover (HWO) Unit (Snubbing International, Alberta, Canada)
2. Circulate / Bullhead kill well:
a. Work over fluid will be diesel (6.8ppg)
b. Ensure all existing wellbore fluids are fully displaced with KWF either via circulation or
bullheading
c. WBV = 670bbls
i. Long String Tubing volume = 80bbls
ii. Short String Tubing volume = 80 bbls
iii. IA volume = 510bbls
3.Set BPVs, ND tree, NU BOP with added 13-5/8” test spool below deck
a. Notify AOGCC 48 hours in advance for witness
b. Set test plug in 13-5/8” test spool
c. Test to 250psi Low / 2,500psi High / 2,500psi Annular
d. All components above the test spool can be tested normally before pulling test plug
e. BOP’s will be closed as needed to circulate the well
f. Planning to pull one string at a time
4. Pull test plug, Pull BPV’s and close BOPE
5. Perform a rolling BOP test on breaks below 13 5/8” test spool
6. Cut short string
a. RU EL to short string
b. RIH and cut just above Kobe block at ±9120’ MD
c. RD EL
7. Unseat Short string and POOH with 3-1/2” tubing
8. Unseat Long string and begin POOH with 3-1/2” tubing
9. LD 500’ of 3-1/2” Long string
If unable to pull strings one at a time, the completion will have to be pulled as duals. The BOP’s will already be
setup for both scenarios. If completion must be pulled 2 strings concurrently, both strings will have to be fully
recovered before the storm packer and wellhead work can commence.
Dual Jet Pump HWO
Well: Anna-15
10. PU 9-5/8” storm packer and hang remaining 3-1/2” below
11. RIH and set storm packer at ±300’ MD
12. Remove BOPs
13. Remove tubing spool and replace with new
14. Nipple up BOP,test all breaks and components previously only rolling tested to 250 low / 2500 high
15. POOH with remaining 3-1/2” long string, Kobe block, and tail pipe
16. PU workstring, and RIH with 9-5/8” test packer
17.Set test packer at ±8,700’ MD (±8,492’ TVD) and perform MIT to 2150psi (charted)
a. Top Granite Point Middle Kenai Oil Pool (C-sands) at 8,715’ MD (8,507’ TVD)
b. 8492 TVD * 0.25 = 2123psi
18. Unseat test packer, and POOH
19. Test any new BOPE components per above
20.Confirm well has passed its No Flow Test after the planned pre-rig perforations
21. MU dual JP completion per below
a. 2-7/8” Long string for power oil injection
b. 2-7/8” Short string for 3-phase production
c. Kobe block at ±9,600’ MD
d. 2-7/8” tail pipe below to ±9,780’ MD
22. Run and land dual JP completion
23. Set BPV’s / TWC’s, ND BOP, NU tree and test

Rolling BOP Test Procedure
Hilcorp Alaska, LLC – Rolling BOP Test Procedure:
Rolling BOP Test procedure
a. Utilize 13-3/8” test spool / test plug between wellhead and BOPE to test all components possible while isolated
from tubing spool/hanger leak
(250psi low / 2500psi High)
d. Once the targeted BOPE components have been tested with this rolling procedure, test any remaining
components of the BOPE system following the normal test procedure (floor valves, gas detection, etc.…)
c. Pull test joint and test sub
d. Verify well is still dead with 0psi on tubings and inner annulus
e. Continue per sundry.
f. Any BOPE components that could only be tested initially via the rolling test should be retested following the normal
test procedure as soon as practical during operations.

Brief Well Summary
Granite Pt St 18742 15 (Anna-15) was flagged as a perf/reperf candidate given a slow decline in productivity in
recent years. Other wells in the field have historically seen benefit from reperfs.
The goal of this project is to perf/reperf the pay sands in this well to restore productivity
Pertinent wellbore information:
- No flow well: Open IA, no packer, nor SSSV’s
- 3/25/24 SL Long string surveillance (power oil injection side)
2.60” gauge ring tagged at 9827’ MD
2-3/8” x 30’ dummy perf gun (~2.50” OD) drifted down to 9850’ MD. Took weight at
9827’, but made it deeper
- Integrity highlights
o PPPOT-T fails. Known communication across wellhead
o 4/24/24: MIT-T to 2500psi FAILED with 430psi loss in 30 mins
Pressured up down both tubing strings against the standing valve
Likely communication across tubing hanger
Can't rule out tubing leak, nor standing valve leak either
o 11/5/2014: NFT passed
o 7/25/14 wellhead diagnostics
PPPOT-IC passed to 250/2500psi (9-5/8” hanger) wellhead seal intact between IA and
OA
PPPOT-OC passed to 250/800psi (13-3/8” hanger)
o 12/16/1984: Most recent RWO
Both 3-1/2” tubing strings were re-run at this time
No recorded casing test
o 1/22/1968: Initial completion
9-5/8” x 7” casings and liner lap passed a PT to 2000psi (before initial perforations)
Most recent recorded casing MIT

4. RDMO EL
5. Circulate standing valve down long string back onto seat in Kobe cavity
6. Circulate JP to seat down long string
7. Bring well on production with Jet Pump
8. Flow well via Jet Pump for 14 days to stabilize and allow for flush production
Hilcorp requests a variance to 20 AAC 25.265.K.3 to produce the well via Jet Pump for 14 days after returned
to production after the perfs/reperfs. This will allow the well to stabilize and exhaust any flush production
9. Perform No Flow Test
a. Shut down artificial lift and leave well lined up to production
b. Monitor until fluid level is stable
c. Notify AOGCC to witness test (48hr notice to AOGCC)
d. Bleed well (both tubing strings and IA) to 0 psi through a large hose
e. Rig up test equipment (low pressure gauge, flowmeter, etc.)
f. Let well bleed through flow meter until inspector arrives but do not exceed 48 hrs. of total
bleed time
g. Begin No Flow Test per AOGCC guidance bulletin #21-001

safety valve is not required to be installed in this well based on the no -flow test result. A fail-
safe automatic surface safety valve system capable of preventing uncontrolled flow must be
maintained in proper working condition in this well as required in 20 AAC 25.265.
The AOGCC Inspector confirmed that the proper test equipment — as outlined in AOGCC
Industry Guidance Bulletin 10-004 — was rigged up to Granite Point State 18742 Well 415. The
well was monitored for four hours with 2 shut-in periods each followed by a flow period. A flow
rate that was unmeasurable with the test equipment was observed at the conclusion of the final
flow period, qualifying the well for a no -flow determination. The subsurface safety valve must
be returned to service if Granite Point State 18742 Well 415 demonstrates an ability to flow
unassisted to surface. Any cleanout, perforating or other stimulation work in this well will
necessitate a subsequent no flow test.
Please retain a copy of this letter on the Anna Platform.
Sincerely,
James B. Regg77

Sunday, July 27, 2014: 1 witnessed the No -Flow test on Hilcorp's Anna Platform,
well# 15 in the Granite Point Field.
Jaimie Katzenburger, lead production operator, performed the test today for my
witness. The pressure was read on an Erdco Armor -Flo resistance style gas flow
meter, range of 150 scf/hr to 1500 scf/hr, and with a recently calibrated 30 psi, 5"
test gage w/0.2 psi increments.
When I arrived, Anna #15 was observed with 0.1 psi on the tubing/annulus and
was flowing gas at a rate of less than 150 standard cubic feet per hour into a
barrel. The annulus was open to the tubing. I observed the well for approximately
four hours during two shut-in periods each followed by a flow period during which I
observed less buildup and lower flow rates until at the end of the last flow period
there was less gas rate than the measurement accuracy of the flow meter being
used. I supplemented the pressure readings by submerging the bleed hose in a
five gallon bucket filled with water and measuring where the hydrostatic pressure
would stop the gas bleeding. This confirmed the less than 0.1 psi readings I
observed on the test gage. The following table contains the steps, pressures and
flow rates observed:

Dear Sir'
Notice of Intent
Granite Point 18742 Well No. 15
Platform Anna, Cook Inlet, Alaska
Attached in triplicate for your approval is a State of Alaska Form 10-403,
Sundry Notices and Reports on Wells, to notify you of our intent to pull
tubing and change the bottomhole assembly in Granite Point 18742 Well No.
15. A leak in the long string side of the tubing has caused poor engine
operating efficiencies, resulting in being unable to draw the fluid level
down and a loss of production. The well is currently producing but at
substantially lower rates than what it is capable of.
We have to begin this work as soon as possible. Any questions concerning
this project may be directed to Mike Schwein in our Anchorage office.
