Summary The P&A is "non-standard" since the well has collapsed tubing and a non-removable plug in the tubing tailpipe. A mechanical bridge plug will be set in the 9 5/8" casing just above the collapsed tubing and 100' of cement will be placed on top of the bridge plug. Current Well Status Please refer to attachment II. The well currently has collapsed tubing at 8347' MD (177' MD above production packer). In addition, there is a shear disk assembly at 8593' MD in the 4 1/2" CA landing nipple (in tailpipe) that cannot be removed due to the collapsed tubing. The disk has not been sheared since the ROPE stimulation was canceled after the collapsed tubing was discovered. The shear rating is 7000 psi delta pressure. The shear disk was run on a Camco DB-6 lock and is currently acting as a tubing plug. There are open zone 2 perfs at 9220-9230' MD and 9246'-9256' MD. These perfs have poor communication with the formation due to near wellbore formation damage from a 9/94 CTU cement squeeze. The proposed P&A procedure will not place cement in the casing across these perfs. The perfs are in the same Zone 2 interval as 0/~,, the sidetrack target and therefore do not impact reservoir management. P&A procedure Due to the non removable shear disk assembly and collapsed tubing, the well will be P&A'd with a 9 5/8" mechanical set bridge plug at 8335' and 100' of cement below the bottom of the kickoff window (please see attachment III). This should satisfy AOGCC 20 ACC 25.105 H 2 C. '~ ~ 1) Pull 5 1/2" tubing above jet cut at 8345' MD. 2) RIH with 9 5/8" mechanical set bridge plug and set at 8335' MD. Pressure test 9 5/8" casing and bridge plug from top side to 3500 psi. 3) Spot 18 ppg mud from 8150' to 8335' MD. Mill 9 5/8" sidetrack window from 8100' to 8150' MD. Cleanout wellbore to 8250' MD. 4) Spot balanced cement plug (17.0 ppg, 0.982 CF/SK) from 7900' to 8250' MD. The cement from 8150' to 8250' is below the kickoff window and represents a 100' (7.3 Bbl) cement plug on top of the mechanical set bridge plug. P&A complete.
