April 12-14. 1972 Directional1y drilled ahead in 6" hole with 76 pcf drilling fluid to 10,848' when well started to flow. Shut well in with 1200 psi pressure on the casing and 600 psi pressure on the drill pipe. Increased mud weight to 85 pcf and drilled ahead to 10,858'. While tripping out of the hole, well started to flow with 5840' of drill pipe in the hole. Shut well in with 1400 psi casing pressure and 800 psi pressure on the dri11pipe. Increased mud weight to 110 pcf and stripped into the hole. Maximum casing pressure attained was 2400 psi with no pressure on the dril1- pipe. Since 3/1/72 we have been able to washover the 4 1/2" drill pipe· fish to 5,853'. We have recovered 4 1/2" drill pipe to 5,844'.
