In accordance with Section 2008, Subchapter 1, Chapter 1,
Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, we are
enclosing in duplicate completed Form P-4, "Monthly Report
of Drilling and Workover Operations" for the captioned wild-
cat test for the months of December, 1971 and Janaury, 1972.
The test was plugged and abandoned January 6, 1972. A
complete well record on Form P-7 will be filed with the
Committee within 30 days from that date.

location until approximately May 1, 1972 as approved by the
surface owner.

On behalf of American Quasar Petroleum Co., we hereby make
application for a permit to drill a wildcat test in the
NW¼ of Section 22, Township 17 North, Range 3 West, S.M.,
and enclose the following:
1) Three copies of Form P-l, "Application for Permit to
Drill, Deepen, or Plug Back," executed by American
Quasar Petroleum Co.
2) Filing fee in the amount of $100.00, payable to State
of Alaska Department of Revenue.
3) Two 8½"xll" bluelines of certified survey plat of well-
site location.
4) 18"x24" blueline of certified survey plat of wellsite
and surrounding area.
$) Two copies of a diagram of the blowout prevention
equipment on R B. Montgomery Drilling, Inc. Rig #36,
which rig will be used to drill the well.
As we have discussed in recent telephone conversations, we
have not indicated wellsite elevation on the application form.
It is our intention to take an instrument reading from the
kelly bushing when rigged up. We will furnish you with ele-
vation information at that time.
American Quasar Petroleum Co., as wellsite lessee and
operator, has posted a Statewide Oil & Gas Bond in the
amount of $100,000.00. A fully executed form DL-11,
"Statewide Oil & Gas Bond," will be delivered to the State
of Alaska Division of Lands within the next few days.
