U.M. ' , ,
2. Gravel sites shall be excavated only to existing, adjacent water (ice)
level, this not to exceed a maximum of two (2) feet at any location.

The Atlantic Richfield Company requests your approval to drill a Tertiary gas test to
approximately 3500' with 9-10.5 ppg fresh water mud. Logs, tests & cores will be taken
at selected intervals. A 3000 psi Hydril will be installed on the 13-3/8" conductor pipe
and a 3000 psi (minimum) Hydril & double preventer will be installed on 9-5/8" and 7"
casing. Ail BOPE will be operationally tested each trip & pressure tested weekly. If 7"
casing is run, a nonfreezing oil base casing pack fluid will be left in the 9-5/8" x 7"
uncemented casing annulus within the permafrost interval. A detailed 7" casin~ and
