The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has reviewed the plans for the subject drilling location in Section 20, Township-8 North, Range 14 East, U.M. and this department has the following requirements: 1. Material for construction of the drilling location shall be removed only from the inactive channels, i.e. exposed gravel bars of the Sagavanirktok River in Section 22 Township 8 North Range 14 East U.M. ' , , 2. Gravel sites shall be excavated only to existing, adjacent water (ice) level, this not to exceed a maximum of two (2) feet at any location. On completion of removal the site shall be re-graded so as to eliminate depressions which could entrap fish'. The reserve mud pit shall be of sufficient size to adequately contain all fluids and materials discharged to it and shall be filled in prior to abandonment. 4.
