Dec. 31, 1970 Jan 1, 1971 Set a cement plug with open end drill pipe at 2596' utilizing 160 sax Class G cement. Calculated top of Cement at 23'96' (71' in open hole and 129' inside 13 3/8" casing). Layed down drill pipe and removed BOP. Placed a cementplug inside the 13 3/8" casing from 45' to the surface utilizing 35 sax Class G cement. Removed the well head and welded a steel plate on top of the casing. Released rig 7 PM 1/4/71. Moving out rig to staging area. Jan. 4, Note. 1971 InstaLLed abandonment marker and preparing to clean and level the Location. The Division of Oil and Gas will be notified for final inspection after the clean up is complete. NO potentially productive oil or gas zones were .encounte~edi~;:~n this well and it is therefore our intention to abandon the well as follows: ._ This well has 13-3/8" casing cemented at 2,525' with 706 sax:'Class G cement around the shoe and 500 sax Class G cement through a DV'collar at 1417' with cement returns to the surface'. 12k" hole, was drilled to 6630' and 8~" hole to 6646', total depth. Procedure' 1. Leave heavy drilling fluid below and between all cement plugs. 2. Place a 100' cement plug across the shoe of the 13-3/8" casing, 50' outside and 50' inside the casing. 3. Place a minimum 10 sax cement plug at the surface in- side the 13-3/8" casing. ~4.. Cap the Well by welding a steel plate on top of the casing. Weld a pipe marker, to the steel plate as required by State regulations. 5. Clean & level location. The Division of Oil & Gas will be notified for final' inspection after clean-up is completed.
