The drilling mud was spread out in a thin layer and has completely dried out. The location is clean except for some very small pieces of wood and small pieces of plastic exposed above the ground where wind has eroded some of the dirt and gravel. The abandoned well markers for wells No. 1 and No. 2 are correct and in place. Drilled 17-1/2" hole to 2425'. Ran 56 jts of 13-3/8" 54.5# K-55 and 3 j ts 72# N-80 csg. Cmtd with 1375 sx of Fondu Flyash and 300 sx Fondu neat. Could not open DV collar at 999'. Ran Schlumberger DIL, BHC, HRD, PML, FDC and SNP. Took 180 sidewall samples, recovered 144. Ran DST #1, 10379-10580', with Lynes straddle pkr at~' 10379' and 1000' WC. OT at 11:45 PM 1-8-70 with good strong blow for 5 minutes, SI at 11:50 for 1 hour ISI. Reopened tool at 1:00 AM 1-9-70, pkr failed after 6 minutes. POH. Box 360 Anchorage, Alaska 99501 Dear Mr. Keasl'er: Re: Beechey Point State #1 (20-12-12) Atlantic Richfield, Operator In reference to the subject drill-site, the following stipulations are required to preserve and protect fish and game resources: , Prior to the start of drilling a'gravel pad of thickness sufficient to prevent degradation of permafrost will be constructed. . Access to this site will be only by an all-season gravel road or by aircraft. 3~ Prior to the beginning of drilling, a sump of sufficient size to contain all waste fluids will be constructed. This sump ~ust be lined with material impervious to oil and oil products at all seasons during the year. Prior to abandonment of the site, the sump must be cleaned of oil and covered. . The operator must dispose of all waste, including garbage, by. burning~ with non-combustible material and unburned residue disposed of in a manner and in a location acceptable to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, i.e. in some locations burial may be necessary, in others removal from the site may be required. . Sewage and ~aste ~ater wi]l be disposed of by lagoonin9 or the cesspool-septic tank method. No stream or body of water will have any sewa§e or waste water added to it. 6. At no time will streams be blocked to fish movement. . The Habitat Biologist's Office, 1018 West. International Airport Road, Anchora§e, Alaska 99502 will be notified prior to closing of this location.
