Installed and tested BOPE. Pulled tubing string. Plugged Hemlock perforations with 120 sacks of cement from 12,680' to 13,446' MD in two jobs. Ran cement bond log from 8,000' to top of 7" liner @ 10,249'. Cut window in 9-5/8" casing from 8,733' to 8,824' (91') with section mill. Set cement plug from 8,685' to 8,940' using 120 sacks. Left 9.7#/gal mud from 8,940' to 12,680' between cement plugs. Polished off cement plug to 8,782'. Began drilling sidetracked hole at 8,782' MD. Drilled 8~" directional hole from 8,782' to 10,956' MD following course S490E with 120 drift angle. Well will be redri11ed to approximately 12,400' MD to penetrate the Hemlock. Rigged up Otis and tested to 4000 psig, okay. Pulled ball valve, opened circulating sleeve started to kill well. 4-29-70 PBTD 13,888 Circulated well with oil emulsion mud. Set back pressure valve. Removed tree, installed blowout preventer and tested okay. Pulled tubing out of hole. Picked up milling tools. Now going in hole. 4-30-70 PßTD 13,888 Milled over packer at 12,744. Circulated mud around to balance fluid in drill pipe. Pulled out and recovered packer and tail pipe. Tail pipe cut off by wireline.3.61 I was left in hole. Ran ßit and ~raper to 13,758. Circulated well with oil emulsion mud. Started out of hole laying ~own drill pipe. . 5-1-70 PBTD 13,888 Finished laying down drill pipe at 9:00 a.m. Rigged up Dresser Atlas to perforate. Perforated as follows 12,855-12,879; 12,915-12986, 13,010-13,127, 13,186-13,257 and 13282-13,346. Rig down Dresser Atlas. Picked up packer and gas lift mandrels as designed. 5-2-70 PBTD 13,888 Ran tubing, 85 joints 3-1/211 tubing and one 3-1/2" pup; 305 joints, 4-1/2" tubing and 1 pup, into 0-8. Set RH 1 Guiberson hydraulic packer at 12,703. Tested tubing and gas valve was leaking. Reversed circulated with diesel to clean out valve. Pressure tested tubing to 2000 psig. Tested okay. Used 800 barrels of diesel to changeover from mud. 5-3-70 to PBTO 13,888 5-6-70 Well test facilities are being utilized by well 0-14. 0-8 will be tested when D-14 well test is completed. -7-70 PBTD 13,888 Final Report. Jarred loose and started out with ball valve. Ball valve stopped at 170'. Jarred valve 2' up hole and line came out of rope socket. Called out over shot for rope socket. Made up fishing tools and re-headed rope socket. Ran in hole and tools ran down alongside of fish. Pulled out of hole and welder made 3" guide for socket. Ran in hole and latched onto rope socket (fishing tools-socket, 1 set of mechanical jars, 2 sets of hybrale jars and sinker bar). Jarred on ball valve 60 minutes with no success. Started jar- .,ring down to shear off ball valve, could not shear off. 50 PSI on lubricator. ÞOpened well into well clean tank and started jarring up. Ball valve came loose. Pulled out of hole and laid down tools and ball valve. ,Re-headed rope socket. Tested lubricator. Ran in hole with 3~ shifting tool. Tool stopped at 9,540'. Could not spud through bridge. Opened well into well clean tank., Spud on bridge while well was. flowing. Worked through bridge and closed well in. Ran in to 10,136' and closed US I gas lift mandrels at 10,353'-10,572', 10,789' and 11,006'. Pulled out of hole and line stuck in flow tube with 210' of line in hole. Rigged up kill line to D-8. Closed gas lift valves. 2/7 PBTD 13,880 Killed well with 100 barrels of sea water down 'tubing. Removed lubricator and pulled Otis tools oût of hole. Re-headed line and ran in hole with 2~" PX plug; set plug at 12,775'. Dropped prong. Ran blind box and chased prong into place. Ran in hole with 3~" shifting tool and opened circulating sleeve at 12,718'. Rigged down and released rig at 2:00 A.M. 2/8/69. 2/15 PBTD 13,880 Moved rig from D-4 to D-8 at 12 noon 2/15/69. Rigged up BOP and tested to 1500 PSI, ok. Started out of hole with tubing. While removing ball valve control lines dropped ball pean hannner (4-\" across) into hole between tubing and 9-5/8" casing. Pulled remainder of tubing. Will run overshot or drill pipe. 2/16 PBTD 13,880 Completed laying down 4~" and 3\" tubing. Picked up drill pipe with 5-7/8" globe basket. Ran in hole to top of liner at 10,241'. Could not fell ball pean hammer. Ran in hole to top of packer at 12,753'. No indication of hammer on packer. Now pulling out of hole. If we don't have hammer will run magnet. Note: with handle out of hammer, it could go through packer, tail pipe, and Otis x-nipple to top of plug at 12,775'. Ran impression block and impression block indicated junk in tubing. Pulled tubing out of hole. Tubing was clean down to the last four stands of 4~". 3~" tubing was clean. Cleaned out 4~" tubing. Shoulder on inside of stinger showed tools were striking it. Ground shoulder off and ran tubing in hole. Stabbed into packer. Ran sand pump, recovered two feet of same, BS at 12,770' estimated depth. Note: Well started to flow, indicated we had pulled the equalizing bar in the Otis plug and the well was flowing from below the plug and pushed a slug of material up the tubing and plugged the tubing. Now gas lifting, hoping the well will kick . the rest of the material out of the tubing. 2/28 PBTD 13,880 ~as lifted with gas, ,lifted water until gas came back. Went in hole with Dresser Atlas. Found bottom at 12,727. Rigged down Dresser Atlas, rigged up Otis. Ran in hole to 12,727'. Pulled out of hole. Lift sand pump in hole. Picked up over- shot. Went in, recoveredsand pump up. Sand pump from 12,727' to 12,756'. La&t run all that was recovered were three little pieces junk. Picked up 7" Halliburton retrievable bridge plug and RTl'S tool. Picked up 3~" and 5" drill pipe. Ran in hole and set RTTS packer at 10,621'. (Perforation for liner squeeze are at 10,531' to 10,532'.) Pressured inside of drill pipe to 3,000# for ~ hour, held ok. Left pressure on drill pipe. Closed pipe rams and pressured annulus to 3,000#. Had leak in kill line. Bled pressure off and repaired leak. Pressured up drill pipe to 3,000# and annulus to 3,200#. Pressure on annulus decreased to 3,075# in 35 minutes, then held for 20 minutes ok with 3,075# on annulus and 3,000# on drill pipe. Bled pressure off of annulus and pressure on drill pipe dropped from 3,000# to 1,500# in ten minutes. It was determined that the RTTS packer was leaking. Now resetting RTTS packer to re-test. Testing production packer, liner lap and casing for leak. Note: There is a possibility that the production packer would hold with pressure on top and leak from the bottom side, also the liner alp could do the same. 3/4 ?BTD 13,880 Released RTTS tool and retrievable bridge plug. Could not release bridge plug after working torque down pipe. While pulling up to release RTTS tool from bridge plug, the mandrel pulled in two leaving bottom half of bridge plug in hole. Ran back in hole wi~h J-s10t fishing tool and jayed into fish at 10,625'. Pulled out of hole and found marks on fishing tool indicating jaying into fish and urijaying due to torque coming up. Went back in hole with same fishing tool. 3/5 PBTD 13,880 Ran in hole and jayed onto slip cage. Pulled o~t of hole and recovered slip cage. Slips had sheared pins leaving all four slips in hole. Slips are four inches long, 1-7/8" wide and 1/8" thick, steel. Rigged up and ran five-inch magnet on wire line to top of fish at 10,150'. Pulled out of hole and recovered one slip. Reran magnet and fish moved down the hole to 10,804'. Pulled out. No recovery. Ran in hole with magnet on drill pipe and pushed fish to 11,330' and circulated. Pushed fish to 12,452' and circulated. Now preparing to push fish on down to packer. Fish is moving with very little indication of drag. 3/6 PBTD 13,880 Pushed fish down to 12,711'. Pulled out of hole. Recovered 1 slip. Ran five-inch magnet on wire line and recoverd one slip. Ran in hole again with wire line with no recovery. Ran in hole with five-inch magnet on drill pipe and pushed fish down t to 12,749' on top of packer at 12,752'. Reverse circulated and pulled out of hole. No recovery but showed mark of slip on skirt of magnet. Ran in hole with six-inch magnet on drill pipe. Have recovered total of three slips and cage. Fished. 3/7 PBTD 13,880 Ran in hole with six-inch magnet and reverse circulated. Pulled out of hole. No recovery. Ran in hole with 5-3/4" impression block and mark showed top of slip wedge cone, indicating slip wedge laying off center or cocked. No indication of slip. Pumped 15 minutes, pressure increased to 2200#, would not hold. Pumped 29 minutes and stopped, cement in place at 9:00 PH 5-10-68, good returns to surface. Rigged up Lane Wells and ran Cement Log. Perforated from 13,285' to 13,342'. Rigged Lane Wells down. Picked up Halliburton test tools, ran in hole for drill stem test #1, connecting up fl~w lines. Perforations 13,285' to 13,342' (-9765 to -9822) with casing gun 4 shots per foot. Cement Bond Log shmved good bonding through Hemlock. PBTD 13,880' - DST Dl Hemlock formation through 7ft casing perfs 13,285' to 13,342' (57') Howco type "e" packer set at 13,249'. Ran 1500' water cushion (11.1 bbls). Bottom hole choke 5/8, surface choke 1.50".\ Opened tool at 7:35- AM for 5 minute I pref1o~~ with strong blow of air immediately. Took 60" ISIP and opened well for 315 minute flow test with strong blow of air immediately. Gas to the surface in 50 minutes. Water cushion and oil to the surface in 135 minutes. Tubing pressure increased from 10-50 psi. Flowed well to well clean tank to clean up for 90 minutes. Recovered 11.1 bbl water cushion and 60.50 bbls of oil. Tubing pressure increased from 50 to 80 psi, cut 0.4%. Switched well to test separator and _ allowed rate to stabilize for 30 min. Started 60 minute production test at stabilized rate. Well flowed 33.33 bbls of oil and a trace of water through two 1%" choke with a flo'VTing tubing pressure of 105 psi. Separator pressure 90 psi. Daily rate 799.92 bbls of oil and 1.6 bbls of water, gas 186.7 ~æF/day, Gar 233, oil gravity 31.6, cut 0.2%. Shut in well for build-up at 1:55 ~1. Obtained 325 minute FSIP. Reversed out drill pipe and recovered 109 bbls of oil, 0.3% water cut. Released packer, pulled out of hole laying down drill pipe. Pulled out of hole and found a piece of one dog missing from shifting tool % x %. Pressured annulus to 950#, opened tubing and bled pressure to zero. Casing pressure remained stable at 950# for 30 minutes. Bled casing pressure off and opened well to recover load. Well f1~wed approximately 70 bb1 in 7 hours at a rate of 10 BPH. No change in rate. Casing pressure during test 600#. Bled casing pressure off. In 30 minutes casing pressure 550#, tubing pressure 20#. Shut in well. Prepared to perfor~te. 7/2 TD 13,932' - Ran in hole with gun, stopped at 12,718'. Pulled out, ran in· hole with sinker bars and jars ran through tight spot. Worked up gun, ran in again to bottom. Ran test on casing 1500#, tubing had 530#, held for 15 mins, no change. Ran in and perforated 4 holes per ft from 13,261' to 13,186 - 75'; 13,131' to 13,011- 120'; .12,991 to 12,916' - 75'; 12,891 to 12,856' . 35'. Checked circulating sleeve, found a piece of one dog missing from shifting tool, l/l'x l/l~ Pressured annulus to 950 psi, opened tubing and bled pressure to zero. Casing pressure remained stable at 950 psi for 30 min. Bled casingpressure off and opened well to recover load. Well flowed approximately 70 bb1s in 7 hours at 10bph. Casing pressure during test 600 psi. Testing casing at 1500 psi, tubing 530 psi, Held OK. Liner hung with Brown type SS packer and MC hanger, Brown Oil Tool landing collar and Brown Type V shoe. Liner equipped with 2 BW centralizers on shoe joint and 1 BW type centralizer per joint on the bottom 24 joints through the Hemlock section, ran 2 centra- lizers per joint on top 6·joints inside of 9-5/811 casing. Conditioned hole for cementing, ran 500 gallons of mud sweep, pumped 760 sacks class G cement with 0.5% R-5 and 1% 0-19 mixed in fresh water, displaced with 334 bbls mud, plug did not bump. Set packer and reversed out 125 sacks of cement. 6/27 Ran 8-1/211 bit to top of liner at 10,2411, circulated and conditioned mud. Dropped 12 jts drill pipe, one drill collar and bumper sub, casing scraper and bit. 6/28 Ran in hole and screwed into fish, recovered fish. Ran 611 bit and 71& casing scraper. Tagged cement at 13,8801, tested casing to 2000 psi, conditioned mud to run cement bond log. 6/29 "Rigged up Lane Wells and ran cement bond log, found OK. Perforated 4 holes per foot with casing gun from 13,2851 to 13,3421. Rigged up Halliburton test tools. , ¡ 6/30 Ran OST No.1 over interval perforated 13,2851 to 13,3421 (571), Howco type C packer set at 13,249'. Ran 1500' water cushion, bottom hole choke 5/811, surface choke 1.5". Initial flow 5 minutes, initial shut in 60 minutes, final flow 315 minutes, final shut in 315 minutes. Strong blow of air immediately on initial flow, strong initial blow on final flow with gas to surface 50 ~in, water cushion and oil to surface in 135 mins, with tubing pressure increasing from 10 to 50 psi. Closed blind rams to test casing, and pumped into casing with 900#. Pressure decreased to 350# immediately after shutting down pump. Drilled plug and float collar, found no cement in shoe joint. Drilled shoe and set packer at 24981. Pressured annulus to 1000# for 15 minutes, held OK. Reset packer at 2468. Mixed 150 sacks Class G cement with 3% calcium chloride, started pumping cement away with 800#. Pressure gradually increased to 1000#. Cleared packer with two barrels of mud, released packer.
