Bill Clytherow, BLM, Fai~rbanks, called to say that Surface Land Use Permit (SLUP)
Ne. Fl1999 dumping permit was issued.to Texaco, Inc. on April 21, 1969 and
· the case was closed on June 23, 1970. This case is not presently in Fair-
banks office, but can be retrieved if necessary. Signed Bob Gall.
Comments on that' If you wish to pursue it further, I believe it would be
in order to request BLM to retrieve the case file to determine what they
mean by Closed, or if the surface land use permit was transferred to the
state, or whatever the status of it is.
That ends it.

Recently we forwarded to you, together with
other well data, a Borehole Compensated Sonic Log. In
assembling this log, an error was made in the interval
transit time scale at 2250'. The scale should read
50-100-150 and 150-200-250 from left to right. A
similar error was made in the scale at 9100' which
should read 25-75-125 and 125-175 from right to left.
Would you please make these corrections on your log.

In reference to the subject drill-site, the following stipulations are
required to preserve and protect fish and game resources:
1. Prior to start of drilling, a gravel .pad of sufficient thickness
to prevent degradation of permafrost will be constructed.
a. Access to this site shall be by all-season gravel road
or by aircraft, with the exception that winter roads may
be utilized when surface conditions are such that land
damage will not result from such use.
2. Prior to the beginning of drilling, sump of sufficient size
to contain all waste fluids will be constructed. This sump
