RE: No-Flow Verification 0tDI
Granite Point State 18742 #4 stews
PTD 1670050
Dear Mr. Golis:
A recent audit of our no-flow database and safety valve system test records identified Granite
Point State 18742 Well #4 as missing a formal no-flow determination. The well is located on the
Anna Platform in Cook Inlet, operated by Hilcorp Alaska, LLC (Hilcorp). On August 15, 2014
an Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC) Petroleum Inspector witnessed a
no-flow test of Anna #4. The AOGCC Inspector confirmed that the proper test equipment — as
outlined in AOGCC Industry Guidance Bulletin 10-004 — was rigged up on the well prior to the
test. The well performance was monitored for 3 hours with resulting flow rates (oil and gas)
below the regulatory limits, passing the no-flow test.
A fail-safe automatic surface safety valve system capable of preventing uncontrolled flow must
be maintained in proper working condition in this well as required in 20 AAC 25.265. The
subsurface safety valve must be returned to service if Granite Point State 18742 Anna #4
demonstrates an ability to flow unassisted to surface. Any cleanout, perforating or other
stimulation work in this well will necessitate a subsequent no flow test.
Please retain a copy of this letter on the Anna Platform.
Sincerely,
JQ44LQ [Re75

MEMORANDUM State of Alaska
Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission
TO: Jim Regg 16 1 S/15' DATE: August 15, 2014
P. I. Supervisor
FROM: Lou Grimaldi SUBJECT: No Flow Verification
Petroleum Inspector Hilcorp, Anna Platform
Granite Pt State 18742 Anna #4
PTD #1670050
Granite Point Field
Friday, August 15, 2014: I witnessed the No-Flow test on Hilcorp's Anna
Platform, WeII# 4 in the Granite Point Field (Cook Inlet, Alaska).
Clay Nettles, lead production operator, assisted me during my test(s) today. The
pressure was read on an Erdco Armor-Flo resistance style gas flow meter, range
of 200 scf/hr to 2000 scf/hr and a recently calibrated 30 psi, 5-inch test gage w/0.2
psi increments. I supplemented the pressure readings by submerging the bleed
hose in a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and measuring where the hydrostatic
pressure would stop the gas bleeding. This confirmed the less than 1 psi readings
I observed on the test gage.
When I arrived, the well was observed with 0 psi on the tubing/annulus was
flowing gas at a rate of <200 scf to a barrel. The annulus was in communication
with the tubing. I monitored the flowing conditions for 45 minutes and observed 0
psi pressure and a gas flow rate less than 200 scf/hr.
The no-flow test was commenced at 8:55am with the well shut-in for a buildup. I
observed the well during alternating shut-in and open flow intervals for
approximately 3 hours. Each shut-in/flow revealed lower build-up pressures and
lower flow rates until at the end of the last flow rate there was insufficient rate to
measure with the flow meter on hand.
Anna #4 exhibited proper parameters for a no-flow status.
The following table contains the steps, pressures and flow rates observed.

Dear Sir:
Notice of Intent
Granite Point 18742 Well No. 4
Platform Anna, Cook Inlet, Alaska
Attached in triplicate for your approval is a State of Alaska Form
10-403, Sundry Notices and Reports on Wells, to notify you of our intent
to reperforate the C-5 and C-7 zones in Granite Point 18742 Well No. 4.
Production response since pulling tubing and changing the bottomhole
assembly in February 1984, has been lower than anticipated. The
reperforation should alleviate formation damage caused prior to the
workover when the well was shut-in. We plan to begin this work as soon
as possible. Any questions concerning this project can be directed to
Mike Schwein in our Anchorage office.
