Rigged up to drill State A-3. 2 9 0 418 Spudded well at 4:00 pm. Drilled 15" hole to 418' RT. Most of the day was spent thawing out mud and water lines. 2 10 418 Ran 17-1/2" hole opener, but could not go below 223' RT due to restricted area in 20" conductor pipe. Ran 17-3/4" mill; milled out restridtions from 223' to 227'. Ran Servco 22" expandable reamer - opened 15" hole to 22" from 227' -.415'. Rigged up to run 16" casing. 2 11 418 - Ran 12 joints 16" OD 75# J-55 8 rd. ST&C casing with Baker Flexiflow 'shoe set at 413' RT. Baker centralizers at 401', 213', 83' & 50'. Top of joint #12 landed 17' below Rotary Table. Bottom 4 joints and show spot welded at threaded connections. Cemented 16" casing, through shoe at 413' RT, with 500 sacks of neat cement. Good return of cement to surface. Cement in place at 9:00 am 12/11/66, 12 hours standing cemented. 2 12 418 Rigged up to drill out cement & shoe. Shut down due to flooding of production deck caused by plugged main drain 100' below production deck. Water depth on production deck necessitated the switching to the stand-by generator and shutting down all others to eliminate the salt water, cooling discharge.
