Petroleum Inspector LO 21-15.DOC Location Clearance Inspection Arco #21 - 15 Swanson River Field PTD #61-012 Thursday, July 27, 1995: I made a Location Clearance inspection on the Arco well #21-15 in the Swanson River Field. This marker is situated on a gravel pad which ! found to be clean and well groomed. There were some pipes protruding from the pad which may be the old flowlines or gas lift header. The following Info was on a 6" marker post: Arco Alaska Inc. Swanson River Unit A-028406 SRU 21-15 660' FNL + 1980' FWL Sec. 15, T 8N, R 9W, SM. I walked the perimeter and found the area surrounding the area to be quite clean with no impact from the previous production activity. I recommend final clearance be given if the flow line/gas injection point is not a issue. SUMMARY: i made a Location Clearance inspection on the Arco well #31-15 in the Swanson River Field. The revisions cover cementing the surface casing shoe and the surface plug of the production casing/surface casing annulus via annular pumping from surface. Additionally, 2 shallow gas sands have been identified in SRU 21-15. These zones will be isolated via a coiled tubing unit squeeze cementing operation. The bridge plug originally stated to be run above the top of the existing cement plug has been eliminated. Instead, a balanced cement plug will be placed on top of the existing cement plug. ARCO requests a waiver on tagging/pressure testing this plug based on the fact that the original cement plug tested to 1500 psi on 5/17/92. If I can provided additional information concerning the above mentioned procedure, please feel free to call me at 263-4243. Sincerely Hans T. Erickson Drilling Engineer cc. A. W. The well was plagued by paraffin and asphaltene and produced at low oil rates until it died in 1973. Attempts to perform slickline work in 1974 ended with a fishing job that eventually required pulling the production tubing to recover a tool string. During that workover attempts to retrieve the production packer were unsuccessful and the wellbore was secured with the Hemlock interval abandoned. SRU 21-15 Current Well Status SRU 21-15 is currently plugged with a 25 sx balanced cement plug set above a packer-fish in the wellbore. Ten sacks were squeezed away. The top of cement is estimated to be at 10,857' with the top of the fish at 11,036'. In October of 1991 the well had 140 psi on it with no pressure on the surface casing. SRU 21-15 had produced a total of 1,011 MSTBO. RECEIVED UAY 2 2 i99~ ,Alaska Oil & Gas Cons. Commisslon Anchorage . . . . . . . . 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. SMITH SUBMIT IN TRIPLICATE SRU 21-15 Well History Summary SRU 21-15 was completed in June of 1961 in the H2 and H5 sands. RECEIVED MAR ~ 6 199~ Aiaaka Oil & Gas Oons. Oommissio~ Anchorage · · · . · . . . . .
