Gentlemen:
The subject wells, located on State of Alaska leases ADL 17582
and ADL 17581, are presently suspended. It is our desire to change the
suspended classification to abandonment. S.R.S. State No. 1 well was
drilled under permit 11-62 and suspended by sundry notice approved
August 18, 1965. S.R.S. State No. 2 well was drilled under permit 65-23
and was suspended by sundry notice approved November 24, 1965. Both
wells have been properly cemented for abandonment as stated in the
aforementioned sundry notices.
We assume that you will advise us when you have approved this
change in classification.

The following is a summary of operations conducted on our
S.R.S, State No. 1 well for July, 1965:
Ran sidewall sample guns at 16,375'.
Marine conductor parted, fished and ~epaired same. While
repairing marine conductor set bridge plug at 13,207' and
cement plug 7571'-7966'. Cleaned out to 16,375'.
Ran 5" 18~ N-80 Casing, top at 13,274' on plain hanger,
bottom at 16,373'. Cemented with 868 cu. ft. cement.
Cleaned out to 16,160'.
Ran cement bond log.
Perforated interval 16,006'-16,021', 16,052'-16,082', with
four 1/2" jets per foot.
Ran drill stem test of interval 16,006'-16,021', 16,052'-16,082'.
Receovered 70 net barrels of salt water in 2 hours 26 minutes.
Set bridge plug @ 15,885' and capped with 44 sacks of cement.
Cleaned out cement to 15,843'.
Shot four 1/2" holes @ 15,364'.
Ran water shut-off test of holes at 15,364'. Recovered 11 barrels
mud filtrate in 93 minutes.

Perforated the interVal 15,665'-15,485' with four 1/2" jets per
foot, and 15,485'-15,410' with two 1/2" jets per foot.

138 barrels salt water with slight scum of oil in 25 hours
12 minutes.
Set bridge plug @ 15,208' and capped with 44 sacks of cement.
Cleaned out to 14,637'.
Perforated 13,410'-13,575', 13,585'-13,810' with two 1/2" jets
per foot.
Ran drill stem test of the interval 13,410'-13,575' 13,585'-13,810'
Recovered 45 barrels of slightly oil and gas cut mud and 181
barrels of slightly oil and gas cut salt water in 41 hours and
55 minutes.
Set bridge 'plug at 13,375'.
Squeezed the 5"-7" casing lap with 100 sacks of cement. Cleaned
out to 13,375'.
Shot four 1/2" holes at 13,350'.
Ran water shut-off test of hole at 13,350'. Recovered 90' filtrate
in 90 minutes.

a. Drilled from 13,1031 to 13,8141 with 9-7/8" bits.
b.
7" casing cemented @ 13,341'. [,vhile displacing 1300 sacks
cement through shoe,, cement flash set when 750-+ sacks out
of shoe. Cemented with 900 sacks through Halliburton DV
collar at h995I.
c. Cleaned out with 6-1/8" bit and drilled to 14,041'.
d. Plugged with 120 sacks cement with blank drill pipe hung
at 13,846t. Located. top cement at 13,3h3t.
e. Plugged with 80 sacks cement with blank drill pipe hung at
12,915t. Located top cement at 12,317~.
f. Set bridge plug at 12,208~.
g. Plugged with 50 sacks cement with blank drill pipe hung at
4975'.
h. Plugged with 50 sacks c~ment with blank drill pipe hung at
55h~. Located top cement at 247'.
i. Installed master gate, after removing drillin9 riser assembly.
j. Operations suspended September 14, 1962.

May 1962 for our well "S.R.S. State No. 1", Cook Inlet, Alaska:
Spudded 7:15 P.M. May 20, 1962
Drilled to 465t with 15" bit; opened 15" hole to 22" to
275t; opened 22" hole to 28-1/2" to 80t.
Ran and cemented 237~ of conductor piPe (1ThI of 16" and
63~ of 2h" pile joint) with 1~00 sacks cement. Marine
conductor included 16" Series 600 Hydril Type (]K preventer.
Drilled to 2798t with 15" bit..
Ran and cemented lO-3/h" - hO.5 lb. surface casing at 2719'
with 2500 sacks cement. Marine conductor included Shaffer
gate with double set of rams, one for complete shut-off and
one for closing around ~" drill pipe, plus two Hydril Type
GE preventers; all B.O.P.ts being 10" Series 900.
NOTE: Depths quoted are below ocean floor; water depth 69~.
