X-mas tree, set riser, & started rigging up BOPE.
TD 12,557' - Nippled up BOPE & tested to 3000#, OK. Tested Hydril to
1500#, OK. Tested choke & kill line to 3000#, OK.
TD 12,557' - Completed installing drilling nipple & splash pan. Con-
nected up flow lines. Slipped & cut drilling line. RU 4-1/2" tongs.
Connected choke & kill lines.
TD 12,557' - Completed winterizing & mobilizing rig. Pulled Guiberson
RH-1 packer loose w/25,000~ over tbg weight (175,000# ·total). Circu-
lated 320 BBLS filtered Inlet wtr down tbg; well cleaned up to clear
wtr. POH & laid down 283 jts 4-1/2" tbg. No visible, serious
corrosion, scale, or paraffin in tbg.
TD 12,557.' - Pulled & laid down 69 jts Range 2, 3-1/2" tbg & Guiberson
RH-1 pkr. PU 6" bit, 4-3/4" DC, 107 jts 3-1/2" DP & 287 jts 5" DP.
CO to 12,405'. Circulated hole clean, no fill. POH & laid down bit
& drill collar. RIH w/open-ended DP.
PB 11,564' - Spotted 80 sax neat cmt w/l% .D-31 from 12,375' to 11,895'.
Pulled to 11,895' & reversed out 2 BBLS-cmt. Pulled into 9-5/8"
csg & WOC 8-1/2 hrs. RIH to 11,910 '--no plug. WOC 2 hrs & RIH to
ll,920'--found hard cmt. Spotted 80 sax neat cmt w/l% D-31 from
11,915' ~o 11,440'. Pulled to 11,440' & reversed out 5 BBLS cmt.

4,500 psi. Unable to pump into lap. POH. Ran Halliburton test

Bench 4 w/2" slim cone jets from 11,990' to 11,970' (20') @ 4 SPF.
Placed well on gas lift @ 3:30 PM 11/18/73 & produced 714 BBLS diesel,
no oil or water. Well blowing dry gas.
PB 12,320''- Loaded tubing w/102 BBLS diesel. Rigged up &'perforated
Bench 4 from 11,970' to 11,910' w/4 jets/ft. Unloaded well &
recovered 107 BBLS diesel. Well failed to produce. Circulated gas

Unibeads, 2,000 gals 5% HC1, 5,000 gals 12-10 UMA, 2,000 gals 5%
HC1, displaced w,/168 BBLS diesel. Had breakdown when acid hit
perforations from 0.4 BPM @ 4,700 psi to 2.1 BPM @ 4,400 psi. Dis-
placed acid @ 4.0 BPM @ 2,600 psi, increasing when diverting agent
hit to 3,800 psi @ 2.5 BPM. Broke back to 4.0 BPM @ 2,800 psi.
Pressure increased w/last of acid to 4,200 psi. Placed we';1 on
production by gas lift @ 6:00 PM 11/21/73. Total fluid used for
loading and acidizing - 1,131 BBLS. Recovered 996 BBLS fluid, cut
@ 7:00 AM to 35% acid water, 25% diesel, 40% oil-water emulsion.
PB 12,320' - Continued producing well. Meter on separator failed @
3:00 AM. Total recovery 1,586 BBLS.
PB 12,320' - Produced well 24 hrs, recovering approx. 644 BBLS fluid.

PB 12,3.20' - RU & ran BHP survey tools. Produced well 4 hrs. Shut
well in @ 9:00 PM for pressure buildup. Rate prior to SI was 384

?B 12,320' - Completed acidizing w/Dowell @ 8:30 AM. Pumped acid in 5
stages. Could not pump last stage of diverting material and 5% HC1
due to hole in acid tank suctioP. Acidized w/20 BBLS solvent followed
by 6 stages of 1,400 gals 5% HC1, 4,000 gals U~.~, 1,400 gals 5% HC1
w/diverter of 500 gals 5% HCl & 400# unibeads. Initial pump pressure
2,500 psi @ 4 BPM dropped to 1,500 psi @ 5 BPM when mud acid hit '
formation. No pressure increase from 1st unibeads, 500 psi increase
from 2nd stage unibeads - 5 BPM @ 2,000 psi. Third stage unibeads
hit @ 4.5 BPM @ 2,000 psi & increased to 2,200 psi @ 4.5 psi. Rate
increased to 5 BPM @ 2,000 psi. When 4th stage unibeads hit, pressure
increased to 2,200 psi @ 5 BPM. Unable to use 5th stage unibeads due
to hole in suction from-tank. Pumped all acid except 1,400 gals 5%
HCl. Final pump pressure - 2,100 psi, dropped to 500 psi in 5 min.
·otal displacement of annulus volume - 1,600 BBLS. Job complete @
8:30 AM 12/6/73. Started unloading well @ 8:30 AM 12/6/73. As of
5 AM 12/7/73, recovered 1,148 BBLS fluid. Well producing @ rate of
42 BBLS/hr, 60% acid wtr & 40% oil. Released rig crews to D-30 @
12 Noon 12/6/73.

Workover operations for the redrill of Well #D-2 commenced at 7:00 a.m., October 7, 1973.
Operations from October 7, 1973 to October 31, 1973, are as follows:
10/7-11
Killed well with filtered Inlet water. Removed x-mas tree and installed and
tested BOPE to 3000 psi. Finished rigging up and pulled production tubing and
packer.
10/12-13 Cleaned out 7" liner to 12,405' and circulated hole clean. Set two 80 sack
cement plugs from 12,375' - 11,920' and 11,915' - 11,440'. Tested cement plugs
to 1200 psi. Held O.K.
10/14-15 Cleaned out 9-5/8" cs§~ to top of liner at 9,536'. Set 7" cast iron bridge
plug at 9,600'. Rigged up and ran G/R CBL logs from 9,536' - 8,000' and
2,500' - 2,000'. Displaced filtered Inlet water with fresh water gel and
Ben-ex mud.
10/16-20 Ran in hole with section mill to top of liner at 9,536'. Picked up to 9,420'
and milled window in 9-5/8" casing from 9,420' to 9,484'. Layed cement and
sand plug (75 sacks cement and 9 sacks sand) from 9,516' to 9,388'. Drilled
out hard cement from 9,388' to 9,428'. Circulated and conditioned mud.
10/21-31 Kicked off cement plug at 9,428' and drilled and surveyed 8-1/2" sidetracked
hole to 11,448'.
