Amoco proposes to drill this well from a surface location at Leg 2, Slot 7, Platform Baker, to a subsurface target location on top of the Hemlock Conglomerate at 2000' FSL, 1700 FWL, Sec. 31, T9N, R12W, S.M. and -8200' MSL. Total depth will be achieved following complete penetration of the conglomerate (G-1 - G-5) section, estimated at 10,000' TMD. This well is required in order to recover trapped reserves from the east flank of the Middle Ground Shoal structure. Also attached for your review are BOP sketches, a plat of the proposed location relative to Platform Baker, and a draft in the amount of $100 to cover the filing fee. Since this will be the fourth well (third in the Lower Kenai Conglomerate) completed in the SW 1/4 of Section 31, we hereby request administrative approval for the above location.
