A rig sidetrack will give this well a new lease on life while allowing access to a part of OS 15 that is currently not being drained. This well targets the " Southeastern part of DS15 2 offsets South of the midfield_~raben. . ,..' ,/ I The sidetrack is currently scheduled for Nabors rig (2SS; beginning around August 21 S\ 2004, after the completion of the 07-06B sidetrack. The pre-rig work for this sidetrack will begin at the Well's Group earliest convenience after sundry approval. Current Condition: ,/ Passed MITOA to 2000 psi and fail CMIT TxlA on 4/13/03. Suspect leaking tubing plug. /' ,/ Passed PPPOT-IC 3200 psi on 4/27/03 / ,/ Failed second CMIT TxlA on 7/29/04 with zero pressure increase on OA; suspect leaking packer or tailpipe plug. ,/ The well has been shut in for two years due to corroded tubing. Previously produced about 600 bopd. 25K GOR, 0% WC. Scope Pre-Riq Work: 1. Pull tubing plug at 9780' MD. 2. Fluid pack as necessary for cement abandonment. - 3. R/U and RIH with coil tubing to plug an~aÖi ndon the well bore from PBTD at 11,232' to window depth // of 10,500'. Estimated cement volume 7 bls. 4. Pressure test the tubing and cement pi 0 3500 psi. 5. R/U slick-line. Drift the 3 1¡2" tubing to at least 9,890' md to confirm clear to the required cut depth. 6. R/U E-line. RIH with chemical cutter and seve~'lhe 3 ~/2" tubing in the center of the full joint of tubing /' above the GLM -9,750' md. 7. Displace the well to clean seawater by circulating down the tubing through the tubing cut. Continue to circulate until clean seawater returns to surface. Freeze protect to -2,100' MD with diesel. 8. Bleed casing and annulus pressures to zero. . 9. Cycle the tubing hanger LOS and test the 9 5/8" mandrel packoff to 5000 psi. /~ 10. Set a BPV and test to 1000 psi from tubing annulus. Run and cement a 7", 26.0#, L-80 intermediate drilling liner. 14. Test the 9 518" casing X 7" liner to 3,500psi for 30 minutes. Record the test. 15. M/U 6 1/8" Dir/GR/Neu/Den/Res/ABI assembly. RIH to the landing collar. 16. Drill out the 7" liner float equipment and cement to the shoe. 17. Displace the well to 8.4 ppg Flo-Pro drilling fluid. 18. Drill out the 7" shoe plus drill -20' new formation; pull up into the shoe and conduct an FIT to 10.0ppg EMW. Drill ahead to horizontal landing point. POOH tor bit 1 BHA change. Drop Neu/Den. 19. RIH, drill horizontal section to planned TD, short trip as necessary. 20. Circulate, short trip, spot liner running pill, POOH. 21. Run and cement a 4 ~/2", 12.6#, L-80 solid production liner. POOH LID all drill pipe. 22. RIH with 2 7/8" perf guns and perforate :t1000'. 23. R/U and run 4 1/2", 12.6#, 13Cr-80 completion tubing. Land the tubing RILDS. 24. Set a TWC and test to 1000 psi 25. Nipple down the BOPE. Nipple up the tree and test to 5,000psi. 26. Reverse circulate inhibited seawater to the packer depth. Set packer and individually test the tubing and annulus to 3,500psi 30 minutes. Record each test. 27. Shear the DCK valve and freeze protect the well to -2,100'. Secure the well. 28.
