Drilling & Wells Coiled Tubing Drilling Teem Prudhoe Bay well 2-03a is scheduled for a through tubing sidetrack to be drilled with coiled tubing. The following summarizes the procedure required to prep 2- 03a for drilling and is submitted as an attachment to Form 10-403. A schematic diagram of this proposed completion is attached. ]. Drift run into 2-7/8" liner to 10700' ?.. The gas lift mandrels will be dummied off and a Mechanical Integrity Test is planned. 3. Install cast iron bridge plug at 10640' (below top of cement in 2-7/8" liner lap) to isolate/abandon existing perforations. 4. Cut 2-7/8" liner at 10600' and remove from well. 5. Pump 17 ppg cement to isolate the 2-7/8' liner and provide a kick-off plug for window milling. 6. RU service CTU to mill 3.8" window in 9-5/8' casing at ~10,500'. 7. RU CT drilling and sidetrack well. 8. The sidetrack will be completed with a cemented 2 7/8" liner that will overlap the existing 4 ½" tubing to ~ 10,075'md (TOL). The estimated Top of cement is planned for ~ 10200' md. 9. Perforate appropriate intervals. The well preparation operations will commence as soon as possible given the uncertainty of pulling the 2-7/8" liner. CT drilling is expected to begin the sidetrack on January 10, 2000. Danny T.
