IT APPEARING THAT:
1. The Pan American Petroleum Corporation submitted a request dated
September 22, 1967 for a correction of the typographical error in the
description of the affected area in Conservation Order #53.
2. An error in the description of the affected area in Conservation Order #53
does exist.
3. Notice of hearing on the request was published in the Anchorage Daily News
on September 29, 1967, pursuant to Section 2012 of the Alaska Oil and Gas
Conservation Regulations, but no protest for hearing was received.
AND IT FURTHER APPEARING that the correct description of the area affected by
Conservation Order #53 is as follows:

Redescribing area affected by Conservation Order #$3
Conservation File #$4
Notice is hereby given that Conservation Order #53 dated September 7,
1967 extended the Field Rules established by Conservation Order #44 to include
other areas of the Middle Ground Shoal Field. A typographical error was made
in transcribing the description of the area as it was stated in the application
of the Pan American Petroleum Corporation.
The effected area as applied for in Conservation Order #53 is correctly
described as follows:

Section 11:

Parties who may be aggrieved if the affected area is changed, as
described above, are allowed ten days from the date of this publication in
which to file a protest and request for hearing. Place of filing is 3001
Porcupine Drive, Anchorage, Alaska. If such protest is timely filed, a hearing

on the matter will be held at the above address on October 11, 1967
at 10:00 a.m., at which time protestants and others may be heard. If
no such protest is timely filed, the Committee will consider the issuance
of an order making the correction without a hearing.
