There were no protests to the application. FINDINGS: · · Open hole completions are commonly used in many oil producing areas· There have been other open hole completions in the Sadlerochit formation in the Prudhoe Bay Field. CONCLUSION: The requested exception will not damage the reservoir, will not be wasteful and will add to the knowledge of completion techniques for the Prudhoe Oil Pool. Notice is hereby given that ARCO Alaska, Inc. has requested the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission to issue an order granting an exception to Rule 3(f) of Conservation Order No. 145 for the Prudhoe Bay Unit No. DS 18-6 well. Exception is requested to effect an open hole completion in order to provide additional information on completion techniques in the Sadlerochit Formation, Parties who may be aggrieved if the order is issued granting the referenced exception are allowed 10 days from the date of this publication in which to file a protest in writing,' stating in detail the nature of their aggrievement and their request for a hearing. The. place of filing is the Alaska Oil and Gas Conser- vation Commission, 3001 Porcupine Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99501. If such a protest is timely filed, a hearing on the matter will be held at the above address at 9:00 AM on August 12, 1982 at which time protestants and others may be heard.
