Nipple up Lubricator, pull BPV, rig down same
Rig up tubing Annulus to choke manifold, had 1, 160psi on it,
tubing 0 psi.
Rig up and pumped down tubing 2-3 bbls min 150 psi, Bleeding
gas off annulus, pumped 87 bbls sea water down tubing, had
water, diesel, crude to surface with 67 bbls pumped, 15 bbls
returned. shut down 0 psi on tubing, 180 psi on annulus
Reverse lines, bull head down annulus 4 bbls min 430 psi
tubing 0 psi
bull head down annulus 4 bbls min 450 psi tubing 0 psi total
pump 150 bbls sea water
Monitor well after one hr. well on vac. 0 psi on tubing and
annulus
Install TWC in tubing and test from top to 1000 psi, rig down
circ. equipment
Nipple down tree.
Nipple up BOPS
Test BOPS and Manifold 250-3,500 psi, Annular 250-2,500, 5
min. per test, performed accumulator test The right to witness
test was wavied by Chuck Scheve AOGCC. Was unable to test
bottom set of rams due to crossover. Will test bottom rams
after laying down tubing.
Rigged up lubricator to pull TWC through 13-5/8" BOP stack.
Screwed into TWC and pulled with lubricator. Well was on
strong vacuum on tubing and annulus has 75 psi.
Rigged down lubricator with extensions.
Bled off 75 psi from the annulus through the rig gas buster.
Gas continued to bleed off annulus. Shot fluid level on
annulus-700'.
Bullheaded 150 bbls of seawater down annulus at 4 bpm. At 38
bbls away pressure increased from 280 psi to 420 psi. Shut
down pump and well was on vacuum.
Made up crossover and jt of drill pipe into tubing hanger.
Backed out lock down screws. Pick up string with 11 OK weight.
No overpulls. Laid down tubing hanger ( no damage observed
on impengement area under hanger). Rigged up spooling unit
for I-wire. Pulled out of hole laying down tubing. Pumping in
displacement fluid every 10 jts at 125% over calculated and 20
bbls every hour. Shot fluid level down tubing after laying down
1000' -330'. Continued pulling and laying down tubing. Shot
fluid level at 2500' down tubing- 250'. Finished pulling out of
hole laying down tubing. - Recovered 4.25' of fish - Stump
looking up 5.62' - Excellent cut on tubing - 00 3.5" with no
jagged edges or burrs - (total fluid pumped on trip out laying
down tubing 206 bbls) - (79 clamps - 158 pins - 1 ss band - all
clamps, pins, bands accounted for)
Pump 30 bbls fluid - Install test plug - Rig up test equipment -
Test lower rams to 250 low - 3500 psi high for 5 mins each test

Drilling Hazards & Contingencies:
Hydrates
. Hydrates have not been seen on S pad, but has been encountered in the surface holes on other
pads, especially nearby H-Pad. Hydrates generally occur just below the Permafrost (+/- 1800
ss) but may be present in shallower SV sands and also as deep as 3000 ft. Be alert for the
possibility of shallow gas andlor hydrates. Use recommended practices for drilling hydrates.
Pretreat mud with DrilTreat; Increase mud wt; Maintain cool mud « 60 deg F); Limit ROP and
Reduce pump rate while drilling hydrates; Circulate connections thoroughly. See Well Program
and Recommended Practices for specific information.
. Another item to watch out for is deeper gravels below the Permafrost or gravels that calve off
within the permafrost and will tend to drop out when the aerated hydrate gas cut mud is being
circulated out. Maintain adequate viscosity. In the past several Milne pt wells have experienced
stuck pipe from this situation.
Lost Circulation
. We do not expect losses while drilling this well.
. Offset wells encountered losses while running and cementing casing and only one well had
losses while running a hole opener. Below is a list of the wells and the lost circulating problems
associated with them. H-06 (1995): Lost 100 bbls running 9-5/8" casing, good returns during
cementing except no returns for last 20 bbls, contaminated cement to surface, cement 12 ft
down, no top job.

(
Milne Poin( ':)8-25 Well Permit
. Follow the LOST CIRCULATION DECISION MATRIX in the well plan if fluid losses occur while
drilling. Break circulation slowly in all instances and get up to recommended circulating rate
slowly prior to cementing.
Expected Pressures
. It is unlikely there will be unexpected overpressure when drilling to the Schrader Bluff formation.
Reservoir pressure is expected to be (8.65 Ib/gal EMW). In this well, the Schrader Bluff
formation will be drilled with 9.1 ppg mud. Offset injectors that have above normal shut-in
pressures will be shut-in prior to drilling this well. Some of the wells on H-pad have experienced
sever gas cut mud well below the permafrost.
