1. Contact inspector to witness job.
2. PU +/- 933' cement stinger w/ slotted flow diverting joint on bottom.
3. RIH with stinger and 5" DP to TD.
4. Circulate and condition mud to obtain consistent mud weight in and out.

5. Spot balanced cement plug to cover the Kuparuk "C" and "A" sand intervals. (see /
cement calculations) Reciprocate pipe until cement reaches the end of the plugback
string.
6. Pull stinger and DP out of plug no faster than 1 stand / 2 minutes. Pull 3 stands
above the planned top of cement.
7. Circulate up spacers and contaminated mud/cement the long way - note approximate
volumes circulated to surface.

10. Spot balanced cement plug from 4870' MD to 4203' (60' inside the 9 5/8" casing - see /'
cement calculations). Reciprocate pipe until cement reaches the end of the plugback
string.
11. Pull stinger and DP out of plug to top of plug no faster than 1 stand /3 minutes while
pulling out of cement.
12. Circulate up spacers and contaminated mud/cement the long way - note approximate
volumes circulated to surface.
13. POOH and LID cement stinger.

(4) infonnation on dlilling hazard~ including
(A) the maximum downhole pressure that may be encoul7terect cntelia used to determine it and maximum potential surface
preSSlire based on a methane gradient;
A pressure bUild-up test performed on Palm lA (35-26) in 4/01 indicated a reservoir pressure in the
Kuparuk C sand of 3597 psi at 5830' tvd, 0.62 psi/ft or 11.9 ppg EMW (equivalent mud weight).
The maximum potential surface pressure (MP5P) while drilling 35-08 is calculated using above maximum
reservoir pressure, a gas gradient of 0.11 psi/ft, and the Kuparuk C sand target at 5841' tvd:
MP5P =(5841 ft)*(0.62 - 0.11 psi/ft)
= 2879 psi /'

.35-08 Drillina Hazards Summary
12-1/4" Hole / 9-5/8" CasinQ Interval
Event Risk Level I Mitigation Strategy
Broach of Cond uctor Low Monitor cellar continuously during interval.
Gas Hydrates Low If observed - control drill, reduce pump rates,
reduce drilling fluid temperatures, Additions of
Drilltreat.
Gravel/Sand Sloughing to Moderate Increase mud weight / viscosity, High viscosity /
500' sweeps. Monitor fill on connections
Hole Swabbing/Tight Hole on Moderate Circulate hole clean prior to trip. Proper hole fill
Trips (use of trip sheets), Pumping out of hole as needed.
Possible thaw bulb / water flow Low Watch return viscosity for signs of thinning.
around 1200' Increased mud weight/viscosity as needed.
Lost Circulation Low Prevent by keeping hole clean. If losses occur-
reduce pump rates and mud rheology, use LCM

I Mitigation Strateqy
Control with higher MW and proper drilling
practices.
Condition mud prior to trips. Monitor ECD's with
PWD tool while drilling across pay interval. Pump
and rotate out on trips as a last resort.
Good drilling practices as documented in well plan.
Periodic wiper trips. Do not leave pipe static for
extended period of time.
Follow mud weight schedule and do not fall behind.
Stripping Drills, Shut-in Drills, PWD Tools, Increased
mud weight as needed. Ensure adequate kick
tolerance prior to drilling pay interval.
Use PWD to monitor hole cleaning. Reduced pump
rates, Mud rheology, LCM. Use GKA LC decision
tree.
