Hi Bob & Tam,
There are two errors, as I already discussed with you both, on the 10-407's for the following
legs of the 1 L-25 Multilaterals. I have checked the rest of the data to ensure that there were
no other errors (I hope). These 10-407's will be resubmitted when the wells are brought on
fine and I'll be sure to make these corrections.

SSSV, and POOH. Recovered tattletale. No indication of
contact with the flapper. The sleeve appears stuck in the open

Repeat run with longer tattletale and attempt to bleed WHP to

SSSV sleeve is in the down or open position. Also, while
making this run, call for SL friction tool to shift sleeve into the

Able to cycle sleeve up and down, and confirm from the tattle

Note -Got lots of what appears to be pipe scale back with the
initial high vis sweep. Geo inspected sample and reports that it
is mostly old pipe scale and sand with only a very small trace
of fine new metal from the window miNing.
Pull OOH with coil pumping at full rate. There is 1 last thing to
try. We plan to rig SL back up and run a friction tool. We can
get a bite on the SSSV sleeve, and jar up to ensure that it is in
the full open position.
Stand back injector. Pick up slickline lubricator. Make up
friction tool.
RIH with friction tool to attempt to shift sleeve into the full up
position. Engage the sleeve pull and spang jar up to assist the
shift to full up position. Close the sleeve and see good pressure
hesitation. Pull 500# tension on the sleeve and hyd. shift
sleeve up, notice 50# decrease in tension -this is good. Flow
test well -dead. SSSV is holding. There's not much more we
can do with slickline. Time will tell if SSSV continues to work
properly. Possibly wash the SSSV with opened EDC on TOH
prior to shutting might help in the future.
RD slickliners.
RU to test upper 2' combi's. Test 250psi Iow/3500psi high

Opened MV/SV well still dead.
PJSM review p{an forward and staying focused with the job at
hand. Plan to PU lateral BHA wo pressure deploying. Also
made SOP to take time washing SSSV on TOH prior to
shutting valve.
Discussed actions we (TP,TL,WSL) are taking to help
mimimize another accidental closure of the wrong set of BOP
rams. Plan to make overlay templetes with better displays of
each ram. These will be easily interchangable for other stack
configruations that we use. We want these in place within 1-2
days. Presently we have the lower 2` pipe ram actuator buttons
in the upper ieftharxf comer of the panel. They need to be
re-wired to the lowest'spare' buttons on the panel which at
present are not being used. (1 hr job) This will require an MOC
from Nordic town group. Wopefully there's no pushback on this.
it needs to be done ASAP. Also reminded everyone that they
have the authority to stop the job anytime they see fit for
whatever reason.

Logging
• MWD directional and Gamma Ray will be run over all of the open hole section.
Hazards
• 1L-25A lateral will cross one mapped faults. Lost circulation risk is moderate.
• 1L-ZSAL1-O1 and AL1-02 will TD at a mapped fault.
• 1 L-25AL 1 will cross 2 mapped faults
• Expect to encounter increasing pressure as lateral is drilled away from the mother well.
• Well IL-29 has recorded 250 ppm H2S. All H2S monitoring equipment will be operational. ~
Reservoir Pressure
• The most recent SBHP survey (9/05) was gauged at 3470 psi after a long term shut-in. The max. expected
pressure is 3600 psi." The EMW is 11.9 ppg at 5840' TVD (ALl-O1 TD). Max. surface pressure with gas
(0.1 psi/ft) to surface is 3016 psi.
Variance request
• BPXA requests a variance to the provisions of 20 AAC 25.036 (d)(4) THROUGH TUBING DRILLING
AND COMPLETION. This is regarding the function pressure test requirement after the use of BOP ram
type equipment for other than well control or equivalent purposes. The variance will not apply when the
routine use of BOP ram type equipment may have compromised their effectiveness. (Example would be
when pipe rams are inadvertently closed on a tool joint during routine operations.) While drilling 1L-25 it
will be routine to close the 2-3/8" combi rams (pipe/slip) on the BHA during deployment and
undeployment. These activities will not compromise the integrity of the BOP equipment.
Managed Pressure Drilling
Managed pressure drilling techniques will be employed to provide constant bottom hole pressure by using ~
8.6 ppg drilling fluid in combination with annular friction losses and applied surface pressure. Constant
BHP will be utilized to reduce pressure fluctuations to help with hole stability_ Applying annular friction
KRU 1L-~ AL1-01, AL1-02, and AL1 Sidetrac~ Coiled Tubing Drilling
and choke pressure also allow use of lighter drilling fluid and minimizes fluid losses and/or fracturing at the
end of the long well bores. A hydraulic choke for regulating surface pressure will be installed between the
BOPE choke manifolding and the mud pits and will be independent of the BOPE choke.
This well has a tubing retrievable sub-surface safety valve that will be utilized to facilitate BHA deployments
and liner running. However, it is still possible that deployment of the BHA under trapped wellhead pressure
would be necessary. Pressure deployment of the BHA will be accomplished utilizing the BOP pipe/slips (2-
3!8" rams, see attached BOP configuration). The annular preventer will act as a secondary containment
during deployment and not as a stripper.
Operating parameters and fluid densities will be adjusted based on real-time bottom hole pressure
measurements while drilling and shale behavior. The following scenario is expected at the 1L-25A TD:
• Estimated reservoir pressure: 3470 psi at 5870' TVD, 1.1.4 ppg EMW. ~~(~~ ~ ~/~'~r~~ ~y ~~~,>°~'~ t'~'k~
• Expected annular friction losses while circulating: 1044 psi (based on 90 psi/1000 ft) ~ i~• r y r~~
• Planned mud density: 8.6 ppg equates to 2625 psi hydrostatic bottom hole pressure.
• While circulating 8.6 ppg fluid, bottom hole circulating pressure is estimated to be 3669 psi or 12.0
ppg ECD
• When circulation is stopped, a minimum of 1044 psi surface pressure will be applied to maintain
constant BHP.

(1) All depths are Measured Depths (MD) unless otherwise noted.
(2) All depths are Bit Depths unless otherwise noted.
(3) All Gamma Ray data (GRAX) presented is realtime data.
(4) Baker Hughes INTEQ utilized CoilTrak downhole tools and the
advantage surface
system to log this well.
(5) Tools ran in the string included Casing Collar Locator, and
Electrical
Disconnect and Circulating Sub, a Drilling Performance Sub (Inner
and
Directional,
Outer Downhole Pressure, and Downhole Weight on Bit),. a
and Gamma Sub, and a Hydraulic Orienting Sub with a near Bit
Inclination
Sensor.
(6) Data presented here is final and has not been depth adjusted to a
PDC
(Primary Depth Control) log. The INTEQ MWD Gamma Ray is the PDC
for this wellbore.
(7) The sidetrack was drilled from 1L-25 through a milled window in
7" liner:
Top of Window 8837.6 ft.MD (5845.3 ft.SSTVD)
Bottom of Window 8840.8 ft.MD (5847.3 ft.SSTVD)
(8) The interval from 9234 ft.MD to 9256 ft.MD (5857.4 ft.to 5856.0
ft.SSTVD) was
not logged due to bit to sensor offset at TD.
(9) Tied to 1L-25 at 8758 ft.MD (5795.1 ft.SSTVD)
(10) This wellbore 1L-25AL1-01PB1 was kicked off the wellbore 1L-25A
at 8938 ft.MD
(5878.16 ft.SSTVD)
(11) The wellbore 1L-25AL1-01 was kicked off this wellbore 1L-25AL1-
O1PB1 at 9210 ft.MD
