IreM 1a: Classification of Service Wells: Gas Injection, Water Injection, Water-Alternating-Gas Injection, Salt Water Disposal, Water Supply for Injection, Observation, or Other. Multiple completion is defined as a well producing from more than one pool with production from each pool completely segregated. Each segregated pool is a completion. IreM 4b: TPI (Top of Producing Interval). IreM 8: The Kelly Bushing elevation in feet above mean low low water. Use same as reference for depth measurements given in other spaces on this form and in any attachments. IreM 13: The API number reported to AOGCC must be 14 digits (ex: 50-029-20123-00-00). IreM 20: True vertical thickness. IreM 22: Attached supplemental records for this well should show the details of any multiple stage cementing and the location of the cementing tool. IreM 23: If this well is completed for separate production from more than one interval (multiple completion), so state in item 1, and in item 23 show the producing intervals for only the interval reported in item 26. (Submit a separate form for each additional interval to be separately produced, showing the data pertinent to such interval). IreM 26: Method of Operation: Flowing, Gas Lift, Rod Pump, Hydraulic Pump, Submersible, Water Injection, Gas Injection, Shut-In, or Other (explain). IreM 27: If no cores taken, indicate "None". Liviano &Pesado were both cut off 5' below tundra level. Depth proven by measuring cut offs from ice pad tundra transition. Small void in Surface casing to very hard cement found. I requested top off of surface casing with cement. Conductor casing had solid cement to surface. The placement of these cement plugs was consistent with the P&A plan that was reviewed by your affice and as attached to this e-mail and I have else attached yesterday's DIMS report for specific details of the actual plug placements. Your North Slope office was notified of this P&A work, however, witness of these plug placements was waived. Our path-forward work for today includes our weekly BOP test and pressure test our casinglcement plug to 2500 psi (which will satisfy the pressure test requirement for a cement plug) prior to running into the hole to tag the top of the cement plug in preparation for our drill-out to sidetrack the Pesado-01A leg of this well {the AOGCC North Slope office has been advised of this plan). if you have any questions or concerns, please advise. The basic drilling plan is to spud the well with a 12-1/4" bit and drill to the surface hole TD at 3323' MD where 9-5/8" surface casing will be run and cemented to surface. An 8-1/2" hole will then be drilled the final Pesado-O1 TD at 4497' MD. After gathering open-hole data from this 8-1/2" penetration (to include open-hole MDT sampling work in the Schrader sands), 7" casing may be run and cemented to accommodate a possible cased- hole DST of the Schrader in the event the MDT work is not successful. With the open-hole OR cased-hole work complete, the open-hole OR case-hole perforations in the 7" casing will be abandon with cement (per AOGCC regulations) prior to setting up the well for the planned Pesado-OlA sidetrack designed to kick-off just below the surface casing at 3338' MD. (NOTE: The Pesado-OlA sidetrack will be drilled under a separate Drilling Permit per the instructions of the AOGCC.) The final P&A process for both the Pesado-1 and Pesado-Ola sidetrack will include the following: 1. Spot/squeeze cement plug(s) (15.8 ppg G) across all cased-hole perforations and/or open- holehydrocarbon zones (Schrader Bluff/Ugnu) in both wells. 2. In addition to the case-hole and open-hole P&A work as detailed in Step #1 above, the last cement plug (15.8 ppg G) will be brought 100' back into the 9-5/8" surface shoe for the required P&A of that portion of the well. 3. Spot 150' cement surface plug (15.7 ppg Arctic Set). 4. Cut the surface casing and conductor casings below the ground elevation and remove those components. 5. Place Abandonment Marker. 6. Submit a final Sundry Notice detailing the final P&A work. MPU Pesado-01 Page 4 2/9/2007 ~ • Drilling Hazards & Contingencies: • Running Gravel/heavy clay problems have been encountered in some MPU wells. High Vis Mud should be utilized. • This is an appraisal well. Hydrates could be encountered. Expected potential depth for hydrates would be from base of permafrost at 1907' TVD / MD. Keep the Mud as Cool as possible. '"- Lost Circulation • Lost Circulation is not anticipated as a major problem. However, good drilling practices need to be maintained to minimize the potential for pressure induced lost circulation. Expected Pressures • Formation pressure in the Ugnu is expected to be 8.35 ppg. Formation pressure in the Schrader Bluff is expected to be 8.7 ppg. Pad Data Sheet • Refer to the MPB-Pad, MPL-Pad and MPE-Pad Pad Data Sheets for off-set well data. Hydrocarbons • Hydrocarbons are anticipated in the Ugnu & Schrader Bluff interval. ~ Faults • No major faults are predicted on this well. Hydrogen Sulfide • Hydrogen sulfide is not anticipated. The closest wells had <2 ppm. ' Anti-collision Issues • There are no anti-collision issues on this well. ALL DEPTHS ARE MEASURED DEPTHS (MD) UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 2. MWD RUN 1 IS DIRECTIONAL WITH DUAL GAMMA RAY (DGR) UTILIZING GEIGER- MUELLER TUBE DETECTORS AND ELECTRO- MAGNETIC WAVE RESISTIVITY PHASE-4 (EWR-4), COMPENSATED NEUTRON POROSITY (CTN), AZIMUTHAL LITHO DENSITY (ALD), AND BIMODAL ACOUSTIC TOOL (BAT). THE ACOUSTIC CALIPER (ACAL) FAILED ON THIS RUN; THE SLD HOLE SIZE INDICATOR (HSI) RE- PLACES IT. 3. MWD RUN 2 IS DIRECTIONAL WITH DGR, EWR-4, CTN, ALD, AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGE LOGGING-WHILE DRILLING (MRIL-WD). MEASUREMENT AFTER DRILLING (MAD) PASSES WERE PERFORMED OVER SEVERAL INTERVALS TO OBTAIN ALD DATA FROM THE AREAS IN WHICH THE TOOL WAS NOT ROTATING WHILE DRILLING. THE DEPTHS OF THESE INTERVALS MAY BE FOUND LISTED BELOW. AFTER MWD RUN 2, A MAD PASS WAS PERFORMED (GR-MRIL ONLY) TO OBTAIN T2 MODE DATA OVER THE INTERVAL 4378'MD/3407'TVD-3490'MD/3462'TVD, AND 3738'MO/3620'TVD - 4095'MD /3960'TVD. THIS DATA IS MERGED INTO MWD RUN 2, AND NOT PRESENTED AS A SEPARATE RUN. THE ACOUSTIC CALIPER (ACAL) FAILED ON THIS RUN; THE ALD HOLE SIZE INDICATOR (HSI) RE- PLACES IT. 4. ALL DATA CURVES ARE SMOOTHED TO A STEP OF 0.5 FT, WITH A WINDOW OF 0.6 FT, EXCEPT FOR ROP, GAMMA RAY, AND MRIL, WHICH ARE SMOOTHED TO A 1.1 FT WINDOW. 5.
