Whereas, Thomas R. 1Vlarshall, Jr. has for fifty years been a significant participant in the
activities of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission; and.
Whereas, Thomas R. Marshall, Jr.'s work has contributed immensely to making the Alaska
Oil and Gas Conservation Commission one of the foremost oil and gas regulatory agencies in the
United States;
NOW THEREFORE, the .Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission hereby adopts
Order No. 1 B as follows;
By this Order .the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission hereby recognizes and
expresses profound gratitude to Thomas R. Marshall, Jr. for his. one-half century of unstinting
service to the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission and the people of Alaska; and, in
recognition thereof the Alaska Oil. and Gas Conservation Commission's hearing room shall for all
time hereafter be formally designated as the Thomas R. Marshall Jr. Hearing Room, and, a
plaque shall be placed at the entrance to the hearing room identifying it in a manner in keeping
with this Order.
By Order of the Commission unanimously adopted this 25`x' day of February 2009.
