It will be completed with 23/8" slotted liner from 8650' MD to a TOL of 7750' MD. The AL1 lateral will exit the A lateral off a flow through liner top sidetrack billet and drill a 2000' horizontal targetino the C4 sands in a fault block further east. • It will be completed with 23/8" slotted liner from TD at 9750' MD to 8850'MD. Directional • See attached directional plan for 1 D-04A, AL1, AL1-01 • Magnetic and inclination surveys will be taken every 30 ft. No gyro will be run. • The nearest well to 1 D-04A, AL1, AL1-01 is 1 D-09 which is 2300 ft. away. • Distance to the nearest property line is 13,500 (measured at closest point). Logging • MWD directional and Gamma Ray and Resistivity will be run over all of the open hole section. Hazards • Possible losses due to faulting. • Possibility may drill into D shale above the C4. Will be forced to do an open JI .ole sidetrack. • KRU,y~pad is considered an H2S pad. 1 D-04 has an H2S level of 80 ppm. The closest SHL to 1 D-04 is 1 D-118 and has an H2S level of 5 ppm H2S. 1 D-12 has the closest BHL an H2S ~~~~.~~ level of 100 ppm. All H2S monitoring equipment will be operational ~ Reservoir Pressure The most recent SBHP survey (April -08) was gauged at 2917 psi C~3 6389' SSTVD. The EMW is 8.8 ppg at 6389' TVD. Max. surface pressure with gas (0.1 psi/ft) to surface is 2279 psi. Managed Pressure Drilling Managed pressure drilling techniques will be employed to provide constant bottom hole pressure ~ by using 8.6 ppg drilling fluid in combination with annular friction losses and applied surface pressure. Constant BHP will be utilized to reduce pressure fluctuations to help with hole stabili Applying annular friction and choke pressure also allow use of lighter drilling fluid and minimizes fluid losses and/or fracturing at the end of the long well bores. A hydraulic choke for regulating surface pressure will be installed between the BOPE choke manifolding and the mud pits and will be independent of the BOPE choke. This well does not have a functioning tubing sub-surface safety valve that will be utilized to facilitate BHA deployments and liner running. It is possible that deployment of the BHA under trapped wellhead pressure may be necessary. Pressure deployment of the BHA will be accomplished utilizing the BOP pipe/slips (2-3/8" rams, see attached BOP configuration). The annular preventer will act as a secondary containment during deployment and not as a stripper. Operating parameters and fluid densities will be adjusted based on real-time bottom hole pressure measurements while drilling and shale behavior. The following scenario is expected at the 1 D-04A, AL1, AL1-01 TD: Estimated reservoir pressure: 2917 psi at 6389' TVD, 8.8 ppg EMW. Page 3 of 5 May 15, 2008 KRU 1 D-04A, KRU 1 D-04AL1 &KRU 1 D-04AL1-01 Trilateral oiled Tubing Drilling • Expected annular friction losses while circulating: 650 psi at KOP and 885 psi at TD (assuming 90 psi/ft, fora 2740' lateral). • Planned mud density: 8.6 ppg equates to 2840 psi hydrostatic pressure at the window. • While circulating 8.6 ppg fluid, bottom hole circulating pressure is estimated to be 3633 psi or 10.7 ppg ECD. 150 psi surface pressure while drilling will be maintained to assure a EMWt. at the window of 10.7#/gal. • When circulation is stopped, a minimum of 790 psi surface pressure will be applied to the well to maintain constant BHP 3630 psi.
