Re: 18-11A Sundry Approval
Well Name: 18-11A f p TO 1-5 3 CJ t 5 P s 6
e-o rr,
Well Type: Producer /Vj P 51.7
Current Status: Shut-In
Request: P&A-Well Prep f/Rotary Sidetrack
Recent Pressure tests: PPPOT-T passed 5,000 psi (7/30/13); PPPOT-IC passed 3,500 psi (7/30/13), MIT OA
passed 2,000 psi (7/28/13),MIT-IA failed-an active leak confirmed at 7094' MD.
Well History: This well was originally completed in 1984. It was then worked over in 1990. The well sidetracked
by a coiled tubing rig in 11/2009. The well produced for 7 months before the water production increased from <
100bwpd to 3000bwpd in July 2010. It was confirmed that the water was from the Cretaceous formation.
Reason for sidetrack: 18-11A is a non-operable well due to production casing and tubing leaks. A rig workover /
of the current well would be very risky due to scaling caused by crossflow of the Cretaceous with the Ivishak. <
Therefore, this well is not operable and has no remaining value. Diagnostics logs (SCMT and Gravel Pack RST)
were run to determine if any fill was present below the production casing leak. Both logs indicated solids
accumulation over the interval between 10,162'- 10,436' MD. 1 fDcf hyf ff yr C4/74,- keit

Pre-Rig Work: (scheduled to begin January 15, 2014) rt.,gs 0 q h'40. !2 I3
1. Perform diagnostics to determine if any solid accumulation preen around the-tubing under the production
leak. Determine the free point(completed)
2. Pull the liner top test plug and replace it with a permanent mechanical plug
3. Drift for Jet Cut
4. Jet cut tubing above the free point. Proposed cut depth at- 10,000'
5. MIT-OA to 2,500 psi
6. PPPOT-T and IC. Function LDS.
7. Set BPV and test
8. Install dry-hole tree
Rig Work: (scheduled to begin on April 1, 2014)
1. MIRU Parker 272 and test BOPE
2. Pull and L/D 3.5" 9.3# L-80 Tubing from -10,000 ft MD including control lines from the chemical mandrel
3. PU 8-1/2"clean-out assembly and RIH to clean-out 9-5/8" casing to top tubing stub at-10,000' MD
4. Run a circumferential cement bond log to determine TOC behind 9-5/8" casing (estimated at - 8591' MD ft
for the first stage and 2144' MD for second stage).
5. Perform P&A operations depending on the extent of TOC behind 9-5/8"
• BP policy requires at least 100 ft ND of annular cement isolation between Put River/ Sag River/
Ivishak and CM3 shale.
• Fullbore P&A cement plug (min 650ft ND)will be placed above the tubing stub if isolation behind 9-
5/8" casing is confirmed.
i. Place an EZSV plug at-9,800'MD and perform weight test
ii. Pump cased hole cement plug (min 100' ND of lateral plug shall be provided). Base plan is
an equivalent of 1,100' of cement volume.
6. Run a packer to be able to pressure test cement having isolated the PC leak(@7,100' MD)
7. RU E-line, RIH with GR/CCL and 9-5/8" EZSV for 47#casing. Set the EZSV at-2700' MD (competent
formation/confirm with GR) as required to avoid cutting a casing collar while milling the window. POOH.
Rig down E-line.
8. MU a Baker 9-%" multi-string cutting assembly. Cut the 9-%" casing above the second stage TOC as
determined from USIT log. POOH, L/D assembly.
9. Change out to 9-%" rams, and test rams to 250 psi low/3500 psi high.
10. MU casing spear assembly and unseat the 9-%". Pull the 9-%" casing from the cut.
11. Change out to 2-7/8"x 5-1/2"VBR Rams. Test to 250 psi low/3500 psi high.
12. RIH with casing scraper and clean-out the 13-%"casing and dress off the 9-%" casing stub.
13. PU and RIH with 9-5/8" Baker bottom-trip anchor whipstock assembly and 8.5" window milling assembly (to
include full gauge string mills). RIH to the top of the EZSV. Orient and set the whipstock. Shear off the
whipstock.
14. Drill the sidetrack 18-11 B as per the Well Program (more details will be submitted in the drilling permit)

Subject: UNDER EVALUATION: Producer 18 -11A (PTD #2090740) Sustained Casing Pressure on IA
Above MOASP
Attachments: 18 -11A TIO Plot.doc; 18- 11A.pdf
All,
Producer 18 -11A (PTD #2090740) was found with sustained casing pressure on the IA above MOASP. The tubing /IA/OA
were equal to SSV /2020/300 psi on 05/21/2012. The well is currently Not Operable due to a known Production Casing
leak and has recently exhibited IA pressurization as seen in the attached TIO plot. The well is reclassified as Under
Evaluation while diagnostics are performed and the well re- secured. The well should remain shut in at this time.
Plan forward:
1. Wellhead: Perform PPPOT -T
