State of Alaska -- Dept. of Natural Resources

Anchorage, Alaska 99504
Dear Mr. Marshall:
Our Well Completion Report to you dated September 16, 1968, reported the following
bottom hole location on our directionally dri'lled Middle River State Unit No. 2:
330' FWL & 660' FSL Sec. 1]-9N-14W.
However, the reported location was our proposed bottom hole location.
Due to our having reached the objective formation, at a shallower depth than
anticipated, the actual bottom hole location was as follows:
236' FEL & 874' FSL Sec.' ]O-9N-]4W.
Kindly make the above correction in your records.
Very truly yours,

SUBJECT: Middle River State #2
Cherryville Corp., operator
With the exception of the following, the Department of Fish and Game
has no objections to the-drilling of the above well.
The Trading Bay area supports a large concentration of waterfowl
during th'e fall months. These waterfowl feed alo.ng the water line,
and are therefore, highly~sasceptible'to any form of pollution. It is,
therefore,-our'request that the following stipulations be included in
the drilling permit:
l)
All waste material including, but not limited to oil, oily
substances, drilling mud and garbage'must be hauled to shore
and disposed of in an approved manner.
.2)
Before drilling begins arrangements must be made for hauli.ng
away waste materials, and the-Department of Fish and Game or

this will-be accomplished.-
