Introduction As required by Rule 9 of the Badami Oil Pool Area Injection Order, dated August 26, 1998, this report provides a summary of the enhanced oil recovery operations at Badami. It will address the following: • Progress of the enhanced recovery project and reservoir management summary including engineering and geological parameters. • Voidage balance by month of produced fluids and injected fluids. • Analysis of reservoir pressure surveys within the pool. • Results and where appropriate, analysis of production and injection logs, tracer surveys and observation well surveys. • Special monitoring. • Evaluation of well testing and allocation. • Future development plans. • Review of Annual Plan of Operations and Development. 2. Summary of Reservoir Management and Enhanced Recovery Production at Badami was restarted September 15, 2005 after a field wide shut-in since August 2003. Production since restart is from five wells. Gas injection is occurring into one well since restart. Since the last annual surveillance report, one well has been secured because of collapsed casing and tubing (Well B1-25). Two other wells are shut-in due to either fill through the perforated interval and above (Well B1-16) or until the cause of communication between the tubing and the annulus can be determined (Well B1-28). B1- 28 has a tubing tail plug installed to isolate the producing formations from the tubing. The total volume of oil produced from the Badami reservoir during the report period was 151,797 stbo. A total of 1,119,625 mmscf of gas was produced of which 958,747 mmscf was injected back into the producing formation. One hundred eighty (180) stock tank barrels of formation water was reported produced. No new wells were drilled and completed above the historical 10 wells including a Class 1 disposal well. Well disposition is detailed in Table 1. No remedial well work was performed on the Badami wells during the report period. The production and gas disposition history of the field during the report period is shown in Figures 1 and 2. Figures 3 through 8 present the well test history of the producers. All of the producers showed a decrease in productivity during the report period. Figure 9 shows the performance history of the gas injector. Connectivity between producer/injection pair B1-15/B1-14 has been re-confirmed through production data, GOR trends, and higher reservoir pressures since re-start. Production decline in B1-15 is somewhat lower than historic production data before shut down, but this is offset by more rapid GOR increases. 3. Voidage Balance Production and injection volumes and reservoir voidage by month are detailed in Tables 2 and 3. Cumulative voidage for year 2005 was negative 239,450 reservoir barrels. 4. Reservoir Pressure Monitoring Fifteen (15) static pressures were taken at Badami during the report period. These pressures showed the reservoir pressure measured at the wells has increased since the field shut-in in 2003 and between statics taken during this year. 5. Production Logging No production logging was performed during the report period on wells completed in the Badami reservoir. 6. Special Monitoring No special monitoring activities were performed during the report period. 7. Evaluation of Well Testing and Allocation Table 5 is a summary of well testing frequency for each of the Badami wells. Daily oil production allocation to each well is accomplished by a method of pro-rating the oil rates such that the total oil produced from all wells equals the fiscal pipeline meter. 8. Future Development Plans Possible application of new technologies is being considered to enhance production and better understand reservoir architecture including horizontal well design and reprocessing of seismic. Monitoring of well integrity and surveillance activity on the Class 1 disposal well, B1-01, will continue as required. 9. Review of Annual Plan of Operations and Development The field was granted a 6th POD by the Department of Natural Resources in June of 2005, which expires June, 2008. 10. Status of Wells Shut-in for 365 Days or More (20 AAC 25.115) The following wells were shut-in all of 2005. B1-25 is secured/safed-out following a March 2005 RWO that failed to resolve collapsed tubing and casing. B1-28 is shut-in and secured with a tubing tail plug due to tubing by inner annulus communication.
