Introduction As required by Rule 9 of the Badami Oil Pool Area Injection Order, dated August 26, 1998, this report provides a summary of the enhanced oil recovery operations at Badami. It will address the following: • Progress of the enhanced recovery project and reservoir management summary including engineering and geological parameters. • Voidage balance by month of produced fluids and injected fluids. • Analysis of reservoir pressure surveys within the pool. • Results and where appropriate, analysis of production and injection logs, tracer surveys and observation well surveys. • Special monitoring. • Evaluation of well testing and allocation. • Future development plans. • Review of Annual Plan of Operations and Development. 2. Summary of Reservoir Management and Enhanced Recovery Production at Badami was restarted September 15, 2005 after a field wide shut-in since August 2003. Production since the 2005 restart was from five wells with gas injection into one well. Since the last annual surveillance report, the field has returned to warm shutdown status starting in late August 2007. Following the field shutdown static bottom- hole pressures were obtained in B1-11A, B1-14, B1-18, B1-21, and B1-36. Table 4 contains a summary of the static bottom-hole pressures acquired in 2007. The total volume of oil produced from the Badami reservoir during the report period was 219,070 stbo. A total of 411,979 mmscf of gas was produced of which 118,627 mmscf was injected back into the producing formation. Eight hundred twenty (820) stock tank barrels of formation water was reported produced. No new wells were drilled or completed. Well disposition is detailed in Table 1. 3 A Brush and Flush maintenance program was continued during production to mitigate a persistent paraffin buildup problem to help sustain production. The production and gas disposition history of the field during the report period is shown in Figures 1 and 2. Figures 3 through 8 present the well test history of the producers. All of the producers showed a decrease in productivity during the report period. Figure 9 shows the performance history of the gas injector. 3. Voidage Balance Production and injection volumes and reservoir voidage by month are detailed in Tables 2 and 3. Cumulative voidage for year 2007 was negative 383,847 reservoir barrels. 4. Reservoir Pressure Monitoring Five static pressures were taken at Badami during the report period and are listed in Table 4. These statics show that the pressures in the individual lobes of the reservoir have dropped since re-start in 2005 except for the lobe containing the gas injector B1-14. 5. Production Logging No production logging was performed during the report period on wells completed in the Badami reservoir. 6. Special Monitoring Prior to securing the wells for warm shut down, statics were obtained in the wells listed in Table 4. 7. Evaluation of Well Testing and Allocation Table 5 is a summary of well testing frequency for each of the Badami wells. Daily oil production allocation to each well is accomplished by a method of pro-rating the oil rates such that the total oil produced from all wells equals the fiscal pipeline meter. 4 8. Future Development Plans Currently there are no plans for development drilling of the Brookian reservoir in 2008. No major changes to the current infrastructure are planned. Monitoring of well integrity and surveillance activity on the Class 1 disposal well, B1-01, will continue as required. Reservoir pressure data will be acquired during 2008 to monitor reservoir recharge. 9. Review of Annual Plan of Operations and Development The field was granted a 6th POD by the Department of Natural Resources in June of 2005, which expires June, 2008. As discussed in the second annual status report, the field was placed in warm shut down in September 2007. 10. Status of Wells Shut-in for 365 Days or More (20 AAC 25.115) The following wells were shut-in all of 2007. B1-25 is secured/safedout following a March 2005 RWO that failed to resolve collapsed tubing and casing. B1-28 is shut-in and secured with a tubing tail plug due to tubing by inner annulus communication. This was done to address the fact there are differenttypes of oil in the reservoir with different GOR.(2)Volumes of produced water are reported here although they are not reported in other production allocations and injection reportingdue to not being of significant volume. Volumes here are based on tank levels when the water was pumped into the disposal welland are not the actual water production for any given month. 8 Table 3 Badami Production/Injection - Reservoir UnitsBADAMI PRODUCTION / INJECTION - RESERVOIR UNITS2007 PRODUCTIONJanFebMarAprilMayJuneJulyAugSeptOctNovDec2007 TotalOil (rb)42,44536,21537,80939,94529,36639,02635,31624,6690000284,791Free Gas (rb)49,70325,26022,22520,51314,34316,56612,7184,0130000165,341Water (rb)002390003262630000828All Fluids (rb)92,14861,47660,27460,45843,70955,59248,36028,9450000450,9602007 INJECTIONWater (rb)0000000000000Gas (rb)33,03011,3693,3544,9703,7343,8122,3156,576000069,160All Fluids (rb)33,03011,3693,3544,9703,7343,8122,3156,576000069,160Voidage (rb)-59,118-50,107-56,920-55,488-39,975-51,780-46,045-22,3690000-381,801Oil Formation Volume Factor, Bo1.300rb/stbGas Formation Volume Factor, Bg0.000583rb/scf0.003276vol/volWater Formation Volume Factor, Bw1.0101rb/stbNotes: (1) Bo from Average of Badami #1 and Badami #5 (lower sand) PVT analysis.(2) Bg calculation based on gas composition of sample taken 9/18/98 (reservoir temperature 185 degrees F, reservoir pressure: 6400 psi)9 Table 3 Badami Production/Injection - Reservoir Units 10 Table 4 2007 Badami Pressure Monitoring Datum is 10,500’ TVDss Table 5 Badami Well Testing Frequency Summary Well Number of Well Tests in 2003 Number of Well Tests in 2004 Number of Well Tests in 2005 Number of Well Tests in 2006 Number of Well Tests in 2007 B1-11A 1102084 33 B1-15 3015430B1-16 00011B1-18 10186419B1-21 00223518B1-25 80000B1-28 90000B1-36 70259036 11 Figure 1 Field Production History Badami Field Oil Production02,0004,0006,0008,00010,00012,00014,00016,00018,0008/24/988/24/998/23/008/23/018/23/028/23/038/22/048/22/058/22/068/22/07Daily Oil Volume (bopd) 12 Figure 2 Field Gas Disposition Histories Badami Field Gas Disposition05,00010,00015,00020,00025,00030,00035,0008/24/988/24/998/23/008/23/018/23/028/23/038/22/048/22/058/22/068/22/07Daily Gas Volumes (mscfpd)InjectionFuelFlareEndicott (Imported) 13 Figure 3 Well Test History B1-11A 14 Figure 4 Well Test History B1-15 15 Figure 5 Well Test History B1-16 16 Figure 6 Well Test History B1-18 17 Figure 7 Well Test History B1-21 18 Figure 8 Well Test History B1-36 19 Figure 9 Gas Injector Performance History 20
