Two drilling paths has been utilized for this purpose as follows: Oliktok Point Drilling Path contributed with four dual lateral oil producer wells (OP08-04 L1, OP14-S3 L1, OP05-06 L1, OP10-09 L1), one water well (OP22-WW03), one N sand development test well (OP19-TIN). Spy Island Drilling path contributed with three producer wells (SP05-FN7, SP22-FN1, SP36-W5), three injector wells (5132-W2, 5119FN2,S135,W4) and two dual lateral oil producer wells (SP36- W5 L1, SP08-N7 LI). As mentioned above this campaign included the drilling of an additional water source well (OP22) to sustain waterflood growth, testing of multilateral concept for the OA sand and the drilling of a dedicated producer targeting the N Sand. Multilateral Campaign The concept of adding a second lateral in counter phase undulation to the main bore was tested initially on OP08-04 well. Figure 3, shows results or the first four wells validating that doubling the productivity could be possible. These early positive results encouraged extending the campaign beyond summer in order to target as many producers as possible on OPP. In addition, bilateral wells are currently the new development standard for OA producers. Figure 4 summarizes a typical production history for OPP wells where waterflood and multilateral intervention impact are apparent. Page 13 Eni Petroleum - Alaska Development :i Oi i i Q i M N i0 r. Petroleum—Alaska Development OPP22 Water Source Wells Positive waterflood response triggered the need for an additional third water source well to sustain water injection growth. A step change can be observed in August 2013 in Figure 2 as wells achieve injection targets. Field voidage balance has been achieved in 2013. As a result, the field accelerated its growth rate achieving 20K bopd by the end of the year - 2. Reservoir Pressure Surveys with the Nikaitchuq Schrader Bluff Pool Following the reservoir monitoring activities of previous years, during 2013 reservoir pressure was measured and monitored around the active well paths (Figure 5a, 5b). A comparison of reservoir pressure maps for the years 2012 vs 2013 shows us that the field has been developed towards the NW side of the current lease and the impact of those producer wells on the natural reservoir pressure. (See Figure 6). Patterns north, far north and west were almost complete by year's end. Figure 6, shows how intake pressures have been gradually stepped down. Sand production, GOR and pattern balance are monitored between acceleration steps. Datum, expected bubble point or pump constraints explain the spread observed. e 3000 4- 900 800 7043 off? -.------- I —OP12-01 400 i– ... . i TOP17-02 , f[ 3004 's I 200 .I---- `r•"'--_...,_a,_.._.-.. -- OPS -05 N H H t — OP14-53 g a Figure 5a. Pool Allocation Factors and Issues over the Year 2013 Production from all wells producing from the Schrader Bluff pool is commingled at the surface into a common production line. Theoretical production for individual wells from the pool is calculated on a daily basis by using well test allocation. Daily theoretical production for a well was calculated using the last valid well test and the amount of time a well was on production for a given day. For example, if we had a valid well test on the first of the month and another on the fifth of the month, the allocation factor for that well will be calculated on the first through the fourth of the month using the test on the first. Subsequently, the allocation factor will be recalculated on the fifth using the new valid test measured on the fifth. On the monthly level, our AVOCET Manager Production software sums up the allocated volumes from each time period between valid well tests. (Minutes on production/1440 minutes/day)*Daily Rate (st6/d)well test=Theoretical Daily Production The daily allocation factor for the field is calculated by dividing the actual total production for the day by the sum of the theoretical daily production for each individual well. Daily allocated Page 18 En! Petroleum —Alaska Development production is assigned to each well by multiplying its theoretical daily production by the daily allocation factor. The average daily allocation factor for 2013 was 1.04. This confirms that our well allocation method is reasonably accurate. The slight discrepancy is attributable to pressure differences between the production and test headers. 4. Reservoir Management Summary The Nikaitchuq OA reservoir development has focused in two major areas, including injection balance management and productivity improvement. As mentioned, on the second part of 2013, a new development strategy was implemented with the objective of increase the production at the field, this new development strategy consist on the addition of a lateral. The dual lateral well development project has been extended adding eight more wells from the OPP drilling path (OP08-04 L1, OP24-S31_1, OP05-06L1, OP10-091_1, OP09-SIU, OP03-051_1, OP18-08L1 & OP16-031_1) and five more wells from Spy Island drilling site (SP36-W5L1, SP08- N7L1, SP24-SEL1, SP12-SE3 L1 & SP21-NW1 1_1) The planned activity in 2009 had a total well count of 51. The well pattern and summary of the activity up to the end of year 2013 was 49 wells (including the dual lateral well paths) and it can be summarized as follows: *OPP Oliktok point development path (onshore) *SID=Spy Island Development path (offshore) SID Ext = Spy Island Western development extension wells ** the well OP -12 was drop from the drilling program Table 2. Tracer Surveys and Injection Monitoring Conducted in the Year 2013 Tracer surveillance analysis was conducted for the SP10-FN5 well during the year 2013. Five oil and water tracer system was installed to cover the bottom six compartments of the well. The tracer systems pairs (oil and water tracer) those tracers were deployed to assess distribution along wellbore and to determine locations of water production (Figure 7-8). Voidage Balance by Month of Produced Fluids and Injected Fluids on a Standard and Reservoir Volume Basis with Yearly and Cumulative Volumes A total of 4.82 millions of barrels of oil was produced from the Nikaitchuq field during the year 2013 at an average daily production of 13,220 bopd. Injected volumes of water during year 2013 were about 5.24 millions of barrels at an average daily rate of 14,380 bwpd. Attachment 2 summarizes month by month bases production / injection sectors and their voidage replacement ratios. The table below summarizes the entire voidage replacement for the Nikaitchuq field. Table 3. 2013 Reservoir Pressure Report summarizing the monthly produced an injected fluids on the Nikaitchuq Field 7. Reservoir Studies A new reservoir model was produced in 2013. This is the first Nikaitchuq model to incorporate significant amount of information collected since development started (well performance and extensive well control data). The model has validated the development concept and field performance. Watercut trends have been captured; data from further 2014 validates FIM. From reservoir management and waterflood performance point of view, the most relevant feedback is that field watercut trends (through July 2014) are in line or more optimistic than modeled trends suggesting no significant by passing of oil and good conformance. Attachment 3 presents the individual well trends. 8. Future Development Plans Future development plans include the drilling of dual lateral on the existing production wells at SID drilling paths at the end of the development. On 2014 drilling activity will focus on the derisking and development of additional development area towards the West part of the field.
