ATO -1376 PO Box 100360 Anchorage AK 99510-0360 Phone (907) 265-6112 In compliance with Title 20 AAC 25.517, ConocoPhillips Alaska, Inc., operator of the Kuparuk River Unit, is hereby submitting the Plans of reservoir development and operation for Undefined Oil Pools. This report documents the required information pertinent to the field development and enhanced recovery operations from January through December 2016. The following is an outline of the information provided: a. A summary of reservoir development and operation for the Ugnu Undefined Oil Pool (Attachment 1). If you have any questions concerning this data, please contact Marc Lemons at (907) 265-6112 Sincerely, Marc Lemons Manager, GKA Base Production and Optimization Greater Kuparuk Area Attachment 1 Ugnu Formation 2016 Report Operations Review UGNU PILOTS/STUDIES The Kuparuk River Unit working interest owners re -started the Ugnu Heavy Oil pilot and established stabilized oil flow from well 1H-401 during December 2013. A down hole heater was used to lower the oil viscosity sufficiently to allow viscous oil to flow via a progressive cavity pump installed in the well. The well - has been online for most of the time since installation of the down hole heater but was shut in March of 2016 due to a failed pump and remains shut in.
