Brief Well Summary
SRU 11-22 is a slightly deviated well drilled in January 2014 targeting stranded oil reserves in Hemlock 1-5. It was
completed with 7-5/8” production casing, 5” liner, and 3-1/2” tubing with GL. All five Hemlock sands have been
perforated to date. In March 2014, only a couple of months after being shot, the H5, H4, and lower H3 were
isolated with a plug. Since that time and until the well died in March 2019, only the original H1/2 and upper H3
perforations were open to production. Over five years of consistent production, those sands collectively averaged
65 BOPD and cum’d 65 MBO. All surface kit is still in place and the well is fully flow capable.
Slickline ran a drift on 10/6/2020 with a 2.5” sample bailer with a SL corrected tag depth of 11,183’.
Given that SRU 11-22 will remain SI indefinitely and that the G2 has successfully produced elsewhere in Swanson,
it makes sense to pursue low-cost, end-of-life perf add work at this time.
Objective
Perforate a 29’ interval of the Tyonek G2 and RTP. Perform pre and post-job echometer shots.
Procedure
1. Perform fluid level shot with echometer.
2. MIRU E-line. Pressure test lubricator to 250 psi low / 3,000 psi high.
3. Perforate the following interval with a 2-3/8” HSD gun loaded at 6 SPF 60 degree phasing:
Sand MD Top MD Bottom TVD Top TVD Bottom Total Footage
G2 11,057’ 11,086’ 10,761’ 10,790’ 29’
a. Perforate with the well shut in, we will need to kick the well off with gas lift after perforating.
b. Correlate using Open Hole Correlation Log provided by Geologist. Send the correlation pass to
Geologist (Jeff Nelson) and Reservoir Engineer (Meredyth Richards) for confirmation.
c. Install Crystal gauges (or verify PTs are open to SCADA) before perforating. Record a tubing
Surface pressure before each run and after each gun firing of 5, 10, 15 min reading intervals.
d. The G2 Tyonek Sand is part of the Hemlock Oil PA governed by Conservation Order 123A.
4. POOH. RDMO e-line.
5. Turn well over to production.
6. Perform post-job fluid level shot with echometer.

2.3 Well Synopsis.
SRU 11-22 is the tenth well drilled by Hilcorp during its current Swanson development. SRU 11-22 was drilled
as a grass roots development oil well off the existing SRU 234-15 pad. Initial data interpretation indicates that
stranded oil reserves remain in the Hemlock 1-5 bench sands south of the H fault.
SRU 11-22 was drilled with a slightly deviated wellbore reaching a maximum inclination of 15+ degrees,
dropping to 4+ degrees in the production zone. Canrig Drilling Technology LTD provided complete
Mudlogging services while drilling the production section of the hole: From 11000’MD to 11421’MD. Total
depth drilled was 11421’MD/ 11132’TVD/ -11111’SSTVD with no problems encountered. 5” production liner
was being installed at the time this report was being written.

2.4 Daily Activity Summary
December 31, 2013:
Finished testing BOPs. Well flowing at 1-2 BPH while testing. Installed wear bushing. 100% increase in
cuttings, mostly fine clay/sand with some golf ball sized coal and some slivers. CANRIG observes 979 units
maximum trip gas while tripping in hole. Shutting down pumps and prepping to TIH at time of report.
January 1, 2014:
Continued TIH. Wash and ream F/8900'- T/9450'- lots of silt, sand, and small coal unloading from wellbore.
CANRIG observes 986 units maximum trip gas while tripping in hole. Washed down last 3 stands. Pumped Hi-
Vis sweep- came back early (channeled). Circulated another BU and TOOH 10 stands to flow check. Pumped
dry job and TOH F/ 10,375' - T/ 6,031'. Continue TOH cut drill line. Cutting drill line w/ one pump circulating at
idle at time of report.
January 2, 2014:
Finished cutting drill line and continued TOH. Changed rams to 7-5/8” and tested. R/U casing crew. Dummy
run hanger. Began running 7-5/8” intermediate casing. Circulated at 3015’ for 3000 strokes. Filling casing
every 10 joints. CANRIG observes 233 maximum trip gas. 3056’ at time of report.
January 3, 2014:
Continue running 7-5/8” casing. CANRIG observes 1028 units maximum trip gas. Continued to RIH w/casing
T/10953’. Washed down T/10977’. CANRIG observes max CBU gas at 1217 units. R/U cementers and pump
cement. 40 bbl Mud Push, 340 bbl Lead, and 63 bbl Tail Cement. Chased w/500 bbl mud did not bump. Lost
71 bbls during chase. Rigging down cementers at time of report.
January 4, 2014: Finished R/D Cementers/Casing, set seal assembly, change out rams and test. R/U to TIH,
M/U BHA, TIH at time of report. Canrig observes 23 units maximum trip gas.
January 5, 2014:
TIH and tagged cement. CANRIG observes 45 u maximum trip gas. Circulated surface to surface. Conducted
casing test to 3500 psi for 30 minutes- good. Began drilling out cement and float equipment with 11.4 ppg mud
using Pill Pit. Drilled to 11,020’, pumped hi-vis interface and displaced 11.4 ppg mud with 9.5 ppg mud.
Perform FIT T/2,226 PSI at time of report.
January 6 2014:
Finish FIT. Continue drilling ahead F/ 11,020’ – T/ 11,421’ TD. Pump hi-vis sweep, saw 10% increase in
cuttings. Short trip to shoe then back T/ 11,421’ and pumped hi-vis sweep, indentified sweep but no increase
in cuttings. TOH to shoe to pump dry job and FC - well static. TOH F/ 10,840’ – T/ 9,219’. TOH at time of
report.
January 7 2014:
Continued TOH F/9,219’ – T/ Surface, L/D BHA. C/O T/ variable rams. Test same. Slight static seepage to
hole over +/- 5 hrs. R/U T/ run 5” 18# liner on 4 1/2“ DP. M/U Hanger. RIH F/ 622’ – T/ 1,810’. RIH at time of
report.
January 8, 2014:
Continue to run in hole with 5” casing on 4-1/5” drill pipe; circulate bottoms up at 7-5/8” casing shoe
10977’MD; CANRIG observes steady background gas of 3 units with no increased gas at bottoms up; continue
to run 5” liner on 4-1/2” drill pipe to 11418’MD; circulate bottoms up; CANRIG observes steady background
gas of 2 to 3 units with no increased gas at bottoms up; prepare for SLB Cement job. CANRIG released from
responsibilities after bumping plug.
