The requested exception is needed to pro- duce oil and gas from the Kenai sands at intervals from 5075' to 5160' and 5205' to 5235' MD. The production from those depths will be conducted within the 500' boundary area of the southeast governmental quarter section, Section 4, T 9N, R 13W, SBM, and the northeast governmental quarter section, Section 9, T 9N, R 13W, SBM. The Trading Bay A-5 well was drilled from the Trading Bay Platform in a southwesterly direction and a plot of the well course and completion intervals are indicated on the attached plat and electric log. The perforations from 5205' to 5235' MD are within the Trading Bay Unit. Unit participants have been notified of this fact by receiving copies of this letter. The well was originally planned as a Hemlock completion; however, the Hemlock calculated to be water bearing and the well was plugged back and completed in Middle Kenai Oil Sands.
