The Tenneco Oil Company submitted a 'request dated August 4, 1967 for an exception.to the 500 feet governmental quarter section boundary offset provision of Section 2061.1 of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, Title 11, AAC for the exploratory well State 36465 ~1 to drill at a location one (1) foot from the south line and 2500 feet from the west line, Section 34, T 7 N, R 14 W, S.M. 2. Notice of hearing on the petition was published in the Anchorage Daily News on August 16, 1967, pursuant to Section 2012 of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations, but no protest for hearing was received. AND IT FURTHER APPEARING that after due consideration an exception to 2061.1 of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Regulations permitting the Tenneco Oil Company to drill the State 36465 #1 well less than 500 feet from the protracted section line and protracted quarter section line should be granted because this well is being drilled subject to a stipulation that the acreage constituting the future drilling unit of this well must be pooled before production is sold. This stipulation is a~ceptable to the offset operators. The Tenneco Oil Company has requested a spacing exception for the caption- ed well dated August 11, 1967. This matter is set for public hearing. Letters of non-objection have been received from all effected operators.
