The proposed location will be located 201· from the lease line common to leases F-032697 and F-032698. Mobil Oil Corporation and Phillips Petroleum Company are joint owners of these 1 eases. The subject location was chosen because it falls on a natural gravel outcrop and will involve a minimum disturbance to the natural surface for construc- tion and operations. Adherence to a 500· setback would place the location on tundra where a gravel pad would be required detracting from the natural appearance of the area.
