Standard Oil Company of California submitted the referenced application dated December 16, 1974. 2. The referenced bottom hole location lies nearer to the Ivan River Unit boundary line than the 1500 foot set back requirement allows. 3. The well is being directionally drilled from the Ivan River 44-1 Unit location. 4. Notice of hearing on this request was published in the Anchorage Daily News on December 18, 1974 pursuant to Title 11, Alaska Administrative Code, Section 22.540, and no protest was received. FINDINGS: 1. It is necessary to place this location less than 1500 feet from a property line so that the location is in the optimum position for the testing of the geological objective. CONCLUSION: 1. Granting the applicant's request will not result in waste or impair correlative right of affected parties. The well is being drilled within the established gas participating area for the Ivan River Unit and the bottan hole location is nearer to the Ivan River Unit boundary than the 1500' setback requirement. Please consider this letter as an application for an exception to Regulation llAAC22.055(~J (3). Attached is a plat shaving the avnership of the adjoining leased properties to the Ivan River Unit. There are no other operators affected than the applicant and Atlantic Richfield Cœpany. As provided under llAAC22. 055 (b), the undersigned is acquainted with all the facts supporting the application for exception and acknowledges that such facts are true and that the attached plat is accurately drawn to scale and permit application correctly reflects the pertinent data concerning the exception request.
