No protests to the application were received. FINDINGS: · BPX proposes to directionally drill Sag Delta #12 from a surface location 726' from the west line and 4505' from the north line of Section 35, T12N, R16E, Umiat Meridian, to a bottom-hole location located 2328' from the north line and 1060' from the west line of Section 2, TllN, R16E, UM. · An exception is necessary to achieve compliance with 20 AAC 25.055(a) (1). · 20 AAC 25.517 provides for integrating the interests of all persons owning an interest in a pool or portion of a pool before commencing regular production of oil or gas. BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. by letter dated December 7, 1989, has requested an exception to the provisions of 20 AAC 25.055(a)(1). The exception would allow drilling the Sag Delta #12 exploratory well to a location closer than 500 feet from the boundary of the drilling unit. Sag Delta #12 will be directionally drilled from a surface location 4505' from the north line (FNL) and 726' from the west line (FWL) of Section 35, Township 12N, Range 16E, Umiat Meridian (UM) to a bottom hole location 2328' FNL, 1060' FWL of Section 2, Township lIN, Range 16E, UM. A person who may be harmed if the requested order is issued may file a written protest prior to 4:30 pm December 26, 1989 with the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, 3001 Porcupine Drive, Anchorage, Alaska 99501, and request a hearing on the matter.
