No protests to the application were received. FINDINGS: . BPX proposes to directionally drill Pt McIntyre #6 from a surface location 1083' from the west line and 556' from the north line of Section 14, T12N, R14E, Umiat Meridian, to a bottom-hole location 282' from the north line and 1646' from the east line of Section 11, T12N, R14E, Umiat Meridian. · Exxon Corporation and ARCO Alaska, Inc as owners of .the surface location have designated BPX as the operator for the drilling of Pt Mclntyre #6. , An exception is necessary to achieve compliance with 20 AAC 25.055(a)(1). , 20 AAC 25.517 provides for integrating the interests of all persons owning an interest in a pool or portion of a pool before commencing regular production of oil or gas. Relevant location data for the Well is as follows' (1) Surface Location' 556.44 ft. FNL, 1083.62 ft. FWL, Section 14, Township 12N, Range 14E, UM on ARCO/Exxon oil and gas lease ADL 34624. (2) Departure from Surface Location to Bottom Hole Location' 6110 ft. N24.7OE. (3) Bottom Hole Location' 282 ft. FNU 1646 ft. FEU Section 11, T12N, R14E UM on BP'Exploration oil and gas lease ADL 365548. (4) Total Depth' 9400 ft. SS TVD The owner and operator of all governmental quarter sections directly and diagonally offsetting the proposed location of the Well is BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. The plat required by the regulation is attached as Exhibit 1. The verification required by the regulation is attached as Exhibit 2. Since BP Exploration is the owner and operator of spacing units cornering and contiguous to the bottom hole location drilling and spacing unit, we hereby request that the notification requirements at 20 ACC 25.055 (b) be waived.
