(BPX) submitted an application on August 29, 1990 requesting an exception to 20 AAC 25.055(a)(3) to permit the drilling of Sag Delta North #1 well closer than 500' from a drilling unit boundary. · Notice of hearing on this request was published in the Anchorage Daily News on August 30, 1990 pursuant to 20 AAC 25.540. 3. No protests to the application were received. FINDINGS: · BPX proposes to drill Sag Delta North #1 from a surface location 2011' from the north line (FNL) and. 2284' from the east line (FEL) of Section 36, T12N, R16E, Umiat Meridian, to a bottomhole location 4911'FNL, 3212'FEL, Section 19, T12N, R17E, Umiat Meridian. · Top of the productive interval is expected to be 5240'FNL, 3380'FEL, Section 19, T12N, R17E, Umiat Meridian. · An exception is necessary to achieve compliance with 20 AAC 25.055(a)(3). , Offset operator/owners have been duly notified and have filed no objection. (2) Departure from Surface Location to Bottom Hole Location: 8170 ft. N27OE. (3) Top of Target Location: 5240 ft. FNL, 3380 ft. FEL, Section 19, T12N, R17E UM on BP Exploration oil and gas lease ADL 312828. (4) Bottom Hole Location: 4605 ft. FNL, 3056 ft. FEL Section 19, T12N, R17E UM on BP Exploration oil and gas lease ADL 312828. (5) Total Depth: 10325 ft. SS TVD There is a potential for production from the top of the target location to the well bottom Hole location. The owner and operator of all governmental quarter sections directly and diagonally offsetting the proposed location of the Well is BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. and the United States of America.
