No protests to the application were received· FINDINGS: I · The Galena No. 1 well is proposed to be directionally drilled from a surface location 2115 feet from the north line (FNL), 2120 feet from the west line (FWL) of Section 32, T7N, R9W, Seward Meridian to a bottomhole location 655 feet FSL, 454 feet FWL, Section 32, T7N, R9W, Seward Meridian. · Arco and its partner, CIRI Production Company, are owners of all governmental quarter sections directly and diagonally offsetting the proposed location. · An exception to 20 AAC 25.055 (a) (1) is necessary to allow drilling of the well. ARCO Alaska, Inc. by letter dated February 25, 1991 has requested an exception to the provisions of 20 AAC 25.055. If the protest is timely filed and raises a substantial and material issue crucial to the Commission's determination, a hearing on the matter will be held at the above address at 9:00 am on April 9, 1991 in conformance with 20 AAC 25.540. If a hearing is to be held, interested parties may confirm this by calling the Commission's office, (907) 279-1433 after March 21, 1991.
