Inc. submitted an application dated November 5, 1991, requesting an exception to 20 AAC 25.055 to allow drilling the Chevron Kustatan No. I exploratory oil well closer than 500 feet to a drilling unit boundary. · Notice of hearing was published in the Anchorage Daily News and the Anchorage Times on November 14, 1991 and the Alaska Administrative Journal Issue 48 on November 25, 1991 pursuant to 20 AAC 25.540. 3. No protests to the application were received. FINDINGS: I · The Chevron Kustatan No. I well as proposed will be directionally drilled from a surface location 1530 feet from the north line (FNL), 3891 feet from the west line (FWL) of Section 3, TSN, R15W, Seward Meridian to a bottomhole location 541 feet FNL, 2662 feet FWL, Section 3, T8N, R15W, Seward Meridian. 2, All offset operators/owners have been identified and duly notified of Chevron's application. · An exception to 20 AAC 25.055(a)(1) is necessary to allow drilling of the well.
