Northwest Milne No. I January 3, 1992 IT APPEARING THAT: I · Conoco Inc. submitted an application dated December 11, 1991 requesting an exception to 20 AAC 25.055(a)(1) to allow drilling the Northwest Milne No. 1 exploratory well closer than 500 feet to a drilling unit boundary. Notice of hearing was published in the Anchorage Daily News and the Anchorage Times on De·ember 17, 1991 pursuant to 20 ACC 25.5.40 and in the Alaska Administrative Journal December 23, 1991. 3. No protests to the application were received. FINDINGS: i · The Conoco Northwest No. 1 well as proposed will be a straight hole drilled from a surface location 2299 feet from the north line (FNL), 1042 feet from the east line (FEL) of Section 23, T14N, RgE, Umiat Meridian. e Offset operators/owners Amerada Hess Corporation, Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Maxus Exploration Co. have been duly notified. · An exception to 20 AAC 25.055(a)(1) is necessary to allow drilling of the well.
