Notice of hearing was published in the Anchorage Daily News on January 18, 1997 pursuant to 20 AAC 25.540. 3. No protests to the application were received. FINDINGS: The ARCO Cache No. 1 well as proposed will be a deviated hole drilled from a surface location 1773' from the south line (FSL) and 112' from the west line (FWL) of Section 8, T1 IN, RgE, Umiat Meridian (UM) to a bottomhole location 2940' FSL and 1570' FWL of Section 9, TllN, R9E UM. . Offset owners BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc., Chevron U.S.A., Inc., Exxon Company, U.S.A., Mobil Oil Corporation, and Union Oil Company of California have been duly notified. 4. An exception to 20 AAC 25.055(a)(1) is necessary to allow drilling ofthis well. CONCLUSION: Granting a spacing exception to allow drilling of the ARCO Cache No. 1 well as proposed will not result in waste nor jeopardize correlative rights.
